92 GMC PRO STREET TRUCK. 434 PRO STREET SERIES SBC ENGINE.

FINAL 4

Here's the story behind this truck. We sold one of our premium Pro-Street engines and transmissions to a local customer of ours for this truck, and due to ailing health reasons he offered to sell the truck to us shortly after installing the power train, and doing a full resto on the body of the truck. We purchased the truck. We finished up many of the still needed things that he was unable to do. He was by trade a high level paint and body man for most of his life, and I must say that this truck has the best paint finish I've ever seen on a restored vehicle. I would give it a strong 9.9 on a one out ten scale, as I'm sure there are a few 10's out there but I've not seen many.

I'm not a big fan of the lowered look, but it's an easy fix to bring the truck up about 1.5 to 2.0 inches or bring it back to actual stock height. The suspension is all brand new, but to raise the truck just a bit should only require lifting blocks or different spring hangers. Not sure but I do know it's nothing like installing an actual lift kit. The truck sits dead level now. I would also strongly recommend a bed mounted fuel tank, and electric fuel pump setup. It's running a mechanical high volume fuel pump now. I have nothing good to say about this type of fuel delivery system on a pro-street vehicle. I would also recommend a rear battery re-location. These two features will do an excellent job of transferring a good amount of weight from the front and middle of the truck to the rear. Traction will be improved and ride and handling will also improve due to the variance in front to rear weight distribution.

FINAL 9

The engine is our premium Pro-Street 434 engine with many upgrades, such as race balancing, H-beam rods with ARP 2000 cap screws, Jomar billet alum. stud girdles. Quickfuel Q-950 carb, this carb cost close to $1200.00, Powermaster mid grade starter. The trans is our TCI Super Street Fighter TH350 capable of handling 775hp. This engine doe's run on premium pump gas. The engine produced right at 670hp. We have a youtube dyno of it's final test run. If you go to our other listings you can read up on what all our Pro-Street 434 engine has in it. All in all, motor and trans. cost was right at $17,900 with the many upgrades this engine has. The exhaust system on this truck is absolutely incredible. The workmanship and quality of parts, including the headers is first class all the way. It also has cutouts on, and wow is all I can say to the sound this truck produces when ya step on it. It actually sounds wonderful the cutouts open or closed. The msd ignition system is also brand new. The complete cooling system is all brand new and consists of premium quality parts. Temp runs approx. 175 regardless of how hot it is outside. This truck has brand new suspension front and rear, as well as new tires.

The inside of the bed is as slick and perfect as the outside. The truck has a rubber bed mat in it and upon lifting the matt I seen the floor of the bed as well as the walls of the bed to look brand new. Not a painted up look, but every inch of it absolutely flawless.

Pictured above and below are the inside of the truck. No actual restoration work was done on the inside. It's fairly stock and in very decent condition considering it's age. The carpet that was installed is terrible, and should be replaced. If the truck does not sell I will be upgrading the inside to a much better level, and will increase the price of the truck. As mentioned the person that owned this truck has been having health issues and did not finish the many small details on the truck. We have completed many of these details at our shop, and there are still a good handful more that need attention.
