I am the second owner of this metro. I bought it off a donated vehicle website. Original owner donated it after it blew a brake line and he quit driving it and it set for awhile. It has the original paint. I did a complete tune up all filters all fluids new brake line pads shoes rotors and drums. I put new tires and a new battery in it. Replaced new outside rear view mirrors and hatch struts. It starts runs and drives well. I used to have several of these when I used to commute 62 miles one way to work in late 90’s early 2000’s. I bought to restore but just don’t have the time as I’m putting up a shop to retire and go into business full time. I don’t want to see it sit anymore as I have only driven it 400 mikes in 3 years. I would like to see it go to good home and get the restoration it deserves. Please view all pics it does have some rust all in my opinion is all very repairable with some fabrication. The main rust area are left front frame horn left outer rocker inner is good both right and left rear inner wheelhouses. And left rear sway mount I have brand new sway mount to weld in included with sale. Some new parts and repair manual included. Water pump timing belt alternator belt and thermostat are the parts plus some misc spares. Car is capable of 50 mpg. Defects other than the rust are radio in currently inop it worked when I parked it last fall believe fuse or connection. Fuel gauge inop believe it wiring above tank. Headliner failed and needs new fabric. Everything else works as it should. LSi model with fairly rare factory delayed wipers and rear wiper. Rear washer and wiper work. Nice little car needs a little attention runs and drives fine would like to see it go to new home giving it the attention it desearves this is a. 64000 original miles original car.you are buying this car just as I did it is 100% “as-is”.
