This 1969 Mustang has been off the road for approximately 25 years. I have owned it for approximately 15 years. I bought a 1969 Ford F-100 since then, that is the reason for the sale. I bought the car here in the San Joaquin Valley of Northern California. The gentleman that I bought it from, had no information on the car, except that he bought it within Northern California. It has a package that you rarely see today, the Sports Appearance Package with Tape Stripe. The package consisted of: Body color hood scoop with 351 badges and turn signal lights, dual sport mirrors, beltline tape stripe, white sidewall tires, and wheel covers. All other options on the Marti Report, did not come included with the above mentioned package, therefore they were in addition to this package. According to Marti Auto Works, they made 11,061 fastback/sportroof Mustangs with this package in 1969. That is only 8% of the total amount of fastback/sportsroof Mustangs sold in 1969. This Mustang sits the way it came from the factory, with no modifications or add-ons. Fold down rear seat is in the car, including the uncut for speakers trap door.
Unibody: I took pictures of the cancer rust that I could find, majority of the rust is surface rust. Floor pans look good, besides the cancer rust under the drivers seat, and small amount on the drivers side rear floor. Passenger side quarter panel has no cancer rust at the bottom. Shock towers, fender aprons, radiator support, front and rear torque boxes look great!
Engine/Transmission/Differential: 351-2V Windsor/FMX Transmission/9" Differential. I do not know the condition of these items or any other items in this vehicle. Assume that everything needs to be rebuilt. I have never tried to start this vehicle, due to wiring and hoses not complete/hooked up. Driveshaft came removed from the vehicle, it is in the trunk. Exhaust pipes/muffler were missing when I bought it. Exhaust manifolds are on the engine.
Title/Registration: Clean California title in my name No back fees owed.
Vin Plate/Door Plate/License Plates: Both match and have not been removed. I do not have the license plates.
Odometer: Mileage exceeds mechanical limit.
Other: Original front passenger rim and hubcap, driveshaft, door panels and upper metal door trims are in the trunk.
I did look between the starter and engine block to discover that it was a C9OE/1969 casting. I did confirm that this Mustang does have an FMX automatic transmission, power front disc brakes, power steering and front disc brakes 9" rear end on it.
