According to the Marti Report this is 1 of 1 Ranchero GT with the hideaway headlights and all these options, and 1 of 190 with the Hurst 4-speed. The engine and transmission are numbers matching, originally sold in Arizona at Read Mullen Ford, a true Arizona Ranchero. Step into the past with this stunning 1970 Ford Ranchero GT, a classic blend of power and style. This vehicle is a standout with its Calypso Coral exterior, with nostalgia and charm. The bold color is sure to turn heads and make a statement wherever you go. The owner changed the color from the original Gold metallic to this beautiful Calypso Coral Orange, with red laser stripe which was offered by Ford in 1970. The car has a framed full Marti Report with all the provenance for a true collector car. The owner has received three different awards at the local car shows in the last year while enjoying and dialing in the car in while in Phoenix Arizona.

Inside, you’ll find black high back bucket seats with red inserts, a color combination that adds a touch of sophistication and sportiness to the vehicle. The vinyl interior offers both durability and comfort with the SMS fabric “comfort weave” inserts. Take a closer look at the NOS console shift plate and NOS ash tray with Hurst Shifter, very hard-to-find NOS parts are throughout this restoration. Classic gauges are added to the soft dash pad, along with a very cool Rocket Tachometer which has yellow to orange flames when you rev the motor. The door panels include a spear chrome piece held onto the door with Ranchero emblems for a custom touch that looks like it should be there in the first place.

Under the hood, this Ranchero GT is powered by a 351C M-code 4-barrel V8 engine, paired with a 4-speed Top Loader manual transmission. This combination ensures a smooth and powerful driving experience, included are a Edelbrock Durashine Carb, Edelbrock Aluminum Intake, MSD distributor and aluminum Griffin radiator for improved reliability for cruising to the car shows. A Borgeson steering box was added with GM power steering pump, instead of the usual Ford Ram steering system which always tend to leak. An electric lift kit for the hideaway doors is a nice upgrade offered by Classic Cougars for the Torino models.

This 1970 Ford Ranchero GT is also equipped with a range of features for your comfort and convenience. The Vintage Air A/C system ensures a pleasant environment inside the vehicle, no matter the weather outside. The heater is bypassed on this car. Hush mat insulation was added to the entire interior, under carpet and under the headliner. The power brakes and power steering make driving effortless, while the NOS shoulder seatbelts and lap belts provide safety. For your entertainment, the vehicle is fitted with an AM/FM Classic brand radio with Blam 6.5-inch speakers, BlueTooth connection, allowing you to enjoy your favorite tunes on the go.

The vehicle also comes with correct 15-inch Magnum wheels with Mickey Thompson tires, with red magnum center caps, adding to its overall appeal. The radial tires offer superior grip and stability on the road, enhancing your driving experience. The bumper brackets have all been powder coated a nice black. Front factory disc brakes with drum brakes in the rear help this car stop very nicely.

In summary, this 1970 Ford Ranchero GT is a vehicle that offers a unique driving experience, making it a must-have for any classic car enthusiast. A full Marti Report, Delivery Order Form, Protecto-Plate from the original owner and restoration photos will come with the car. Lastly, a very recent appraisal was made of this Ranchero by a certified appraiser, and this appraisal will be included along with a complete 3-ring binder of all the receipts for this car. The car was appraised at $59,100, which is my Buy-it-Now price! I believe this car belongs in a Museum and/or car collection; and, is probably worth more than my asking price! Where can you find another one? No where but here in Arizona!
