Selling my 1968 Camaro. I've owned this car since 1989. In 1998 I had both outer wheel wells, quarters, rockers, floor pans and rear deck panel replaced. I disassembled the car and then adult life took over and its been sitting as you see it since 1998. Car is originally a 327 with column powerglide car with factory AC. It had the 350 shown in the car and a turbo 350. I acquired a 400 SBC which is the short block shown. Car comes with both engines, both turbo 350s and the lincoln rear axle that I was going to put under it. The current rear axle is from a 1979 Z28 and 3.42 gears and posi.
I sourced an original console, shifter, sleek steering column for floor shifter and was going to convert it. Needs front glass but all the rest of the glass is in the doors, just rolled down and rear glass is in place. Trunk floor is good and no issues there. Originally a vinyl top car the front window lip needs to be repaired in a couple areas as well as the firewall. Front sheet metal is all there. Both fenders are original GM along with the header panel, lower gravel panel and cowl panel. They were sourced by my dad through GM in the late 1990ish. Sun visors, door handles, seat belts gauges, heater/AC controls are all there. The metal frame for the door panels is there but you need new vinyl. This project is solid enough to disassemble and start the restoration process pretty quickly. I intentionally didn't go any further so it could be moved around with ease. Not a rare car but was and will be a good running car. Pics are part of the item description and are all from 2024. Car can be seen in person by appointment in St. Charles, MO 63301. $500 deposit is due within 48 hrs and pick up within 10 days after purchase. I will not arrange shipping or transportation, sorry I got my own stuff to do. This car got me through high school and hopefully you can enjoy it now.
Cash at time of pick up or cashier's check that will need to clear before title transfer. ACH works too.
