This ain't your usual "Barn Find".  It's a driver.  Starts right up, stops, shifts and drives just like a 1948 Chevy should.
You can rod it or restore it to "as-new" condition.
Was supposed to be a project for my teenage son and myself but girls and computers got in the way.  Now we just don't need it and don't have the time or $$ to finish.
Originally a Texas farm truck with less than 10,000 miles.
Original 216 6-cylinder engine rebuilt in 2010 and has 2675 miles on the rebuild.
Original 3-speed column shifted transmission was also rebuilt in 2010 and works just as it should.  Synchro 2-3.
Rear end gears changed to 355 for freeway speeds (55-60).
Fuel tank removed, cleaned, lined and replaced.
Complete wire harness installed.
Brake lines recently replaced and bled.
Starter and Generator rebuilt.
New fuel pump.
New 6-volt battery.
Original, "numbers matching" engine and driveline.
Real Fulton sun shade
Tires are 10+ years old but have a lot of tread left.
Only rust through is at driver's side fender where it meets body (see pic).  All other is surface rust.  Frame is solid and straight.  No wrecks, no repairs.
Black Naugahyde bench seat in great condition (one small tear).
Many extra parts, books and manuals.
Runs and drives better than any original 1948 Chevy truck should.
Local pickup or I will help load on your carrier.

$5.00 off if you can decipher the license plate.
