NO RESERVE! HIGHEST BID WINS CAR! SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE. 1986 Monte Carlo SS. Car runs and drives great. Clean CARFAX with only 4 owners and I personally know the previous 2 owners. This is one of the nicest examples of an '83-88' SS Monte Carlo that you will come across. Car is 100% rust free including fenders, doors, quarters, inside bottom of doors, trunk, rear body and frame. The paint shines very nice but is not what I would consider a show car but very high quality driver. Very minor dings in each door which both could be PDR (paintless dent repair) if you wanted it to be flawless. Minor chips and scratches which is to be expected of this year car that gets driven. The original 305ci engine was replaced approximately 50K miles ago with a 350ci V8. When you open the hood the engine bay appears to be 100% stock with the exception of the motor being a 350 now. Car starts up every time with no noise, no smoke and no leaks. Plenty of power with it having the 350ci. All brand new 2.5” dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and sounds amazing!
Interior is very clean. No smells and never smoked. Dash has ZERO cracks. Headliner is in great shape with no sagging. Interior is 100% original except for an aftermarket CD player that was installed. All new speakers front and rear with high output amp and 12" sub located in the trunk and it sounds great. Dome light works, all dash lights work, cruise control works and all gauges work except fuel gauge recently stopped working. Heater blows hot, AC kicks on and blows cold but could probably use a little more freon. Car has been lowered with drop spindles and drop springs. It rides well considering how low it is but the front tires will rub the inner fenders if you hit a big enough bump. I have always driven with caution, as you would with any lowered vehicle. Car will drive 80mph all day long with cruise control set, zero issues and has proven its dependability in the last 12 years of my ownership. The only thing car needs is a new windshield as there is a crack but does not affect visibility.
This car gets constant attention, and it will be difficult to see this one leave after owning for over 12 years but I am out of space. Whoever ends up with this SS Monte Carlo will have no disappointments!
