This classic 1976 Cadillac Eldorado 2Dr Convertible is a stunning example of vintage automotive beauty. With a Blue exterior and Blue interior, this is a convertible with a mileage of 88200. The car is equipped with a V8 engine, automatic transmission, and FWD drive type.
The car has a number of features including power windows, climate control, metallic paint, AM/FM stereo, CD player, air conditioning, power locks, power seats, tilt steering wheel, and power steering. The vehicle title is Clean and it is a great addition to any car collection.
This Eldo starts right up, as seen in video, and runs really smooth. The exhaust has a muffler and a new resonator that gives this automobile a nice low and soothing throaty sound to it, that you can just about hear when driving around. I changed the oil in late May. Tires have less than 2k on them.
You can see it the photos that I have color matching, hard to find, (rare) fiberglass Parade Boot.
I think all the interior lights work.
The radio was replaced with a top-notch Alpine stereo, AM/FM, MP3 Player with CD Player. The faceplate is removable as an anti-theft device. There is some kind of amplifier in the trunk.
The trunk release in the glove works.
Convertible top is in very decent shape and goes down and up when the power button is pushed.
The dashboard is not perfect, it has a few cracks in it, see photos, I took the covers off the dash to show damage (not like most sellers who take pictures with the covers on to hide defects). On that note, I am mentioning as many issues as I can for you, the buyer, so that there is a true picture of what I'm selling. I want the buyer to be informed and happy when buying from me. Back to the convertible...The Air Conditioning is ICE COLD. I drive with the top down and the A/C blowing here in Vegas even at 105*.
The car is a 20-footer...it looks fantastic from 20 feet away. As you get closer you can see that the paint has quite a few issues. See photos for most of the issues (chips, bubbles etc.). The rear left fender and part of the trunk lid were hit a few times by a small metal clip that was swinging from a tree and chipped quite a few spots on the Cadi.
All the windows work, however, it's as if the 'child safety lock' on the driver's door won't disengage. The windows go up and down only if the driver door controls are used.
Clock and Cruise Control don't work. Wipers are new and work fine, the washer fluid does not squirt out.
Right turn signal flashes when it should but the lever must be turned off by hand. Passenger door mirror cable is out of whack (Loose?). You can set the correct angle, but the mirror will not stay exactly where it is set for more than a few seconds.
Jack in the trunk is missing its' base.
The 'mixing door' for the heat/ac makes a 'ticking' noise sometimes under the glove box.
If a buyer chooses to purchase sight unseen (as many ebay users do) the buyer accepts the vehicle AS IS and WHERE IS and understands I cannot address concerns after purchase. For this reason, it's important all concerns are addressed prior to purchase. I make every effort to present accurate and reliable information, but use of this information is voluntary, and should only be deemed reliable after an independent review of its accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to verify the existence of options, accessories and the vehicle condition before time of sale. So, please ask questions before bidding.
