1998 Buick Century Custom, 58000 Original Miles - Comes with over $1000 worth of new parts; (none of which are needed at this time).   It is much easier to describe what doesn't work... The Air Conditioning needs a new Evaporator.  Do not attempt to charge it with Freon to try using it, because the Freon will boil (i.e. "Bad Evaporator") and then the computer will throw a code stating the Freon is boiling.  The Windshield Washer PUMP leaks (steady drip).  I emptied it dry, and disconnected the "Low Wiper Fluid" sensor so you will not see a "Low Fluid" light always lit on the Dashboard. The stereo has a cassette, but it does not work any longer. Other than that the stereo has a premium sound system.  Lastly, if you look at the photo of the rust underneath, you'll see that is the very location where you would jack the car up to change a flat.  I carry a hydraulic jack in my trunk for that purpose.  You CANNOT jack this car up from the sides of the vehicle.  I will show you the best locations for using a hydraulic jack.

The car was recently hit in the driver's side front fender by an F-150 pickup truck.  The pickup truck got the worst of it. (I was amazed at that fact).  I declined (actually "cancelled") my claim against the other driver's insurance because they wanted to "total" the vehicle, then make me buy it back and then supply a "salvage title."  I decided I'd rather just fix it as best as possible.  The hood and the driver's door open and close properly.  Everything "lines up" decently.  This car would be worth finding the entire front nose OF THE SAME COLOR at a junk yard.  I say "worth it" because I am a master mechanic who has installed THOUSANDS of dollars worth of new parts into this vehicle...  ALL MY LABOR, so that number is JUST parts. Plus I have at least $1000 worth of extra new parts which will come with the vehicle. (The car does NOT need the extra parts to be installed).  Of interest, when I bought the car, I also bought enough "Exact Match" touch up paint cans to paint the entire car. I never used any of it.   (You get all of that also).
`
Your ONLY expense would be the front nose replacement, should you choose to do that, and the Air Conditioning repair.  The car needs NOTHING else.

Things done since purchased in 2019 with 47,000 original miles... Engine intake manifold removed and replaced the PLASTIC gasket, which is known for failure, with the improved METAL designed gasket.  All spark plugs replaced.  All wires replaced. Installed NEW Electronic Ignition & Coil Packs. I drive less than 1000 miles per year, but the oil gets changed TWICE per year _regardless_ of mileage.  The ENTIRE exhaust system was replaced a couple of years ago (Walker SoundFX Exhaust System).  Upon purchase I had to replace everything that could rust under the vehicle.  ALL of the fuel & vacuum lines have been replaced front to back.  ALL of the brake lines have been replaced.  The brakes have recently been serviced.  I had to rebuild the calipers because the new ones didn't arrive in time.  (You will receive the new calipers, and MANY MANY MANY new spare parts).  The Gas Tank, Sending Unit and Fuel Pump have all been replaced, including the Fill Neck.  The front end has been rebuilt.  The only parts not replaced on the front end are the inner tie rods; (they were fine. You will receive the new tie rods).  I also have new trailing arms & assorted hardware for the rear (you will receive all of it), but the existing arms are in no danger of failure, so I didn't install them. The transmission filter & gasket was replaced.  The Struts are fine, but I have a new set of Monroe Struts that you will also receive along with all of those other extra parts.

Mechanically, this is a VERY dependable "Daily Driver."  I drove to Florida twice with it, and frequently visit my aunt 3 hours away in Lancaster PA. The New Jersey inspection is good until 8/25.  If you just need a car to get from point A to point B, you cannot go wrong with this.

A $500 deposit via PayPal is due within 24 hours of auction end.  I AM WILLING TO ALLOW YOU TO CANCEL under the following condition:  You must make an appointment within 7 days to come here to pay and pick up the vehicle (I can give you a FEW DAYS to process the paperwork at DMV and then come back to pick it up).  If you keep the appointment, and actually come here, I will allow you to "change your mind" if you don't like what you see.  I will then refund your deposit (less my eBay & PayPal fees of about 5%).  If you understand what you're buying, I cannot imagine not wanting this car. Nevertheless, if you actually ARRIVE HERE I am willing to allow you to cancel. Otherwise, the $500 deposit is non-refundable.  Lastly, this is an "as is" sale.
