Vehicle Details

Classic luxury coupe with a (removable) continental package. Only 65,000 miles on the engine. The transmission was sent to Portland Torque Products for a total rebuild three years ago. Runs and drives great. Starts right up. I've owned it since 2010 and try to drive it at least once every couple of weeks except in winter (I've only put about 3000 miles on the car). It's a great driver and I get compliments every time I take it out. Comfortable bench seats make it perfect for the drive-in. AC still works. In the past 14 years, I've had the transmission rebuilt, replaced part of the exhaust, new water pump, radiator hoses, and belts. New plugs and wires. It has a few issues, mostly with the body: The paint is beginning to craze on the horizontal surfaces (hood, roof, and trunk lid) and has a few rust spots. We've touched up a few spots to slow the rust down, but it needs to be redone. The pinstriping has peeled off in several spots and the plastic bumper fillers are disintegrating. The padded part of the roof also has some discoloration that I haven't been able to bring back to white. Please see the pictures for the condition of the paint. Outside of the body work the driver's side mirror adjuster is broken and the headliner is sagging. There is some fading from sun damage on the interior and the steering wheel is cracked. The antenna no longer goes down. Normal things for a nearly 40 year old car. The battery is also being slowly drained by something, so I disconnect it when I won't be driving it for awhile. The engine does smoke a little if it has been sitting for weeks. Included are a carb rebuild kit and a set of engine gaskets that I haven't had time to do anything with. I also have several cans of touch-up paint I will include.I'm sad to let this car go, but I don't have the time or space to keep it looking/driving it's best.
