Only selling due to medical reasons.

Nice 1987 Grand National with GNX wheels. 59k. Rare Factory Sunroof car that works w/ new moldings. 3.8 with upgraded Turbo, intercooler & ECM. I believe I have some of the original parts - Turbo - ECM - Intercooler w/fan that I will dig out if buyer is interested. Stripped and painted all original panels two years ago with complete paint.(I have all pictures) Southern car stored inside its whole life. Doors are solid and clean. Interior is clean. Has some mods from previous original owner. Upgraded programmable  "FAST XFI" ECM. 500hp capable turbo w/intercooler, methanol Injection,  trans street/strip build w/ line lock, relocated battery to trunk. Narrowed rear wheels wells slightly to accommodate wider rear tires. Radio does not power on. All new seals - Windows, doors, trunk, and sunroof. Over 60k in car. Never raced, just put together and took to a couple local shows. Needs minor things to perfect but nothing major. Overall I woud grade the car an 8 out of ten. Has some minor paint flaws, but Im my own worst critic. The only thing I was going to do to it is new tires, brakes, and valve cover gaskets due to sitting in my garage.

Click last picture to see how straight the body is, can see my old truck in the reflection perfectly...

Any questions, please ask. This is a straight all metal car with a clean history. Before I bought it, the car belonged to the same family since new. I try to describe my items the best I can and usually people are very satisfied.

Car is sold as is, as described, and where is. As I really have seen just a few flawless cars, this car is 37 years old with a recent paint job, along with some mods and imperfections, but very nice!

I reserve the right to end the auction early as it is for sale elsewhere. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due at auctions end. The balance is due asap. Pickup arangements asap.

To answer some questions asked, the car is only for sale due to medical issues. The vin is what is listed. The EBAY site will not allow me to add or delete any pics. This car is mostly stock with the upgrades and mild mods listed that I know of. The original owner passed away and the family had no idea what mods were done. Even though the family stated, if he did it, he did it up well, as that is what he did all his life.
So, the engine sounds like it has a cam, and was freshened up. But not sure if the engine had anything else was done to it. Trans shifts very strong. The rest of the car seems stock. The rear brakes are drum. The brake lines are original. Never in a salt environment to rot them out. Has the vacuum booster, fuel gauge under hood, and other items added. Some mods could be relocated like the battery that I would relocate back to the front. As stated in the auction, I would replace the brakes (they pulsate), valve cover gaskets, battery location, wiring organization, and tires.

The car was completely stripped and painted. It was not a frame off restoration, or I would have stated that as so and increased the price to reflect the cost of doing so. Painted using Transtar paint, original Black and clear. This car is beautiful and needs some TLC to make to your level of desire.  It is an all original metal car and looking to get close to the buy it now price.

As many people are concerned with the minor needs I listed, with the "buy it now", I will install new stock brake pads & rotors, valve cover gaskets (Rubber, not cork), and relocate battery back to the front with a fresh oil change and a complete detail. Rear wheel well frame has have been modifiedfor wider tires. Section near inside of wheel narrowed slightly and even with the wheel well. Looks good and even. The lip of the wheel well opening has been bent upward to avoid contact with tires. I also  have a independant transport guy who transports vehicles in an enclosed trailer for .90 a mile if needed. Very reliable.
