After Piaggio purchased Moto Guzzi, significant changes were made to the V7, now called the V7 III. The 744cc transverse 90° twin engine has seen a 10% increase in power and improved efficiency. The chassis has been revised for quicker handling, and new features include ABS and adjustable traction control.

The new Moto Guzzi V7 III Stone offers a more comfortable riding position, improved handling, and a more refined, powerful engine response. The bike feels almost nothing like earlier V7s and has better brakes and suspension. The Stone is attractive, economical, and potentially appealing to a broader audience with its modern performance.
