I bought this VW Beetle in MAY 2021 in very good condition with it in the original Champagne paint. I really  liked the patina but it had some surface rust on the bottom fenders and a couple spots elsewhere. So I decided to have it professionally restored.in 2022. It ended up with new fenders and a complete paint job. The work was done by Hovis Restoration in Fredonia, PA.
It starts easily and runs reliably.
It had both front end tie rod arms replaced in 2021 along with a complete safety check by an experienced  VW Beetle mechanic.
The odometer was not working and was replaced in June of 2021.
I have receipts for all the work during my ownership.
The car has a Pennsylvania  Antique License Plate.
Sometimes the fuel gauge is sticking at 3/4 full.
I had it out today, June 2 and it started right up and ran perfectly.
Having this car was fun and living down memory lane with my Dad teaching me to drive a 67 beetle.
I had my fun but unfortunately am not able to drive it very often due to other interests.
Someone else should enjoy driving it and reliving the good old days.
