About this vehicle
If you want a Studebaker that turns heads, this is it! This 1962 Lark Regal Hardtop is not only a survivor, but an original gem. The paint, (Studebaker Blaze Red), is in excellent condition, with all new trim, chrome bumpers, chrome bumper guards, interior carpet, and tinted windshield to name just a few of the updates. Headliner is in immaculate condition. It was recently judged last September at an International Meet where it received 390 points out of 400. This is a lovingly maintained car that has been in my family for 42 years. My father purchased it at a farm sale in 1982; it became mine in 2021 at which time I spent almost 2 years restoring it. I have replaced brakes, front springs, bushings, rear leaf springs, weather stripping, interior carpet, windshield, and tires. The front driver side seat cover has been replaced with NOS and passenger cover is included still in box. The engine has been removed replacing front cover seal, manifold and valve cover gaskets, along with fuel line, fuel sensor and sending cover. The carburetor has been rebuilt and an oil filter and radiator overflow tank have been added. All old grease, sand and road dirt has been removed from the undercarriage and new undercoating applied. The red color and finish is stunning and the interior is extremely clean and not torn or ripped. This car runs like a top. I drive it to car shows all around WI,IL,IN, and IA. With 49,329 miles on the odometer, this car has been lovingly taken care of. Don’t miss your chance to own an orphan survivor car that is a piece of American automotive history.
