2002 Porsche 986 Boxster S with VERIFIABLE 14 YEAR SERVICE HISTORY BACK TO 2010.  Garaged every night unless I am traveling.  Many upgrades, I have owned the car for 6 years.  I am a PCA Porsche Club of America member and bought the car from another PCA member who bought it from another PCA member.  Porsche club members are fanatical about their car, almost obsessive and that means that they maintain their cars to a very high level.  This986 has been well maintained.  IMS was changed to L&N Engineering dual row bearing a few years ago.  I do my own oil changes and run a magnet across the oil filter and inspect for metal fragments each time for the telltale sign that the IMS is going bad. The oil has no had any metal fragments.  I also installed a magnetic oil drain plug to inspect for same. I have never found chips in the oil or filter.  Have all documentation of service that I will give the buyer. If you know anything about buying a used Porsche, you will know the value in buying a car with a known history. I have driven this car to Florida many times and to other parts of the country with no issues because I have taken care of this vehicle.  Garaged and covered every winter with a trickle charger. Oil changes every 5,000 miles with Motul 8100 5W-40 or Mobil 1.   Car has no dash lights or alarm codes, topworks as it should. AC blows ice cold, heat works.  Has cruise, PSM, custom made Coco mats, radio works.  Car has normal wear & tear with some rock chips on the hood and front bumper and a scratch on the right front fender when I parked too close to my grill one evening.  Has a small rock chip on the windshield that hasn't gotten bigger so I haven't changed it out. Leather sport seats were dyed by a local upholstery shop last summer. Car has many upgrades including a sport exhaust that gives a throaty growl when you want it. This car is very reliable and has never stranded me.  If it made a noise, it went into the shop.  Simple as that.  Currently riding on summer tires, Toyo ProxesR888 track tires.  Comes with second set of tires mounted on OEM Porsche wheels, Pirelli P Zero's.  Fantastic tires (both brands) and both sets of tires have been balanced at Discount Tire, so that means free balancing for both sets of tires.  Second set comes with Porsche brand tire covers that will fit both sets of tires.  Tires have plenty of tread depth and life left in them.  Car gets compliments everywhere I go.  Simply is my favorite car but it's time for it to meet it's new owner.  With the verifiable service history at Porsche of Nashville, GMW in Nashville and Fritz' Garage in Franklin, you will have PEACE OF MIND knowing that this car is solid and straight. No accidents. Not interested in trades, have clean title. No tire kickers please. Headlights are original but I installed AUXBEAM 4000 lumen LED bulbs, super bright, ultra low heat.  Includes car cover.

This is one of the nice ones.  I would have no hesitation driving this car across country.  Has been a joy to own and drive.  Here is a video I shot last night.
