Muscle Car at its best in this Very Unique 2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM WS6. Garage kept all its life, this WS6 Trans Am
looks pretty much like it looked coming off the showroom floor. All stock and
unmolested, this WS6 will take you back in time to the pure American Muscle
Days. Plus, being one of the last
convertible WS6s, it makes for great Summer fun or Sunday driving, too. It has particularly low miles for its age
with the odometer at 17,500 miles.
THAT’S ABOUT 795 MILES
The WS6 Edition Trans Ams were modified by GM from the
factory with the RAM AIR Performance and Handling Package, which included the famous
RAM AIR Induction System with functional hood scoops, massive Low Restriction
Dual Exhaust Pipes, Specific Tune Suspension, 17” Polished Aluminum Wheels, and
Z Speed Rated Tires. Top that off with
3.23 ratio Rear Performance Axle and the WS6 really puts the horsepower to the
road.
In addition, this car’s only owner was the local Pontiac dealer
and was only driven in parades, car shows and the occasional Sunday drive. Plus, it has been kept in his climate
controlled garage for 22 years. This WS6 was never titled until dealer recently
decided to reduce his collection. He finally decided to let her free to find a
new home. He did a great job of
preserving the car in its original condition.
Powered by the world famous and very reliable GM LS1 V8
engine, this WS6 has enormous power. GM
built these engines for power and longevity.
This is the same engine that powered the Corvette. Add the awesome looking and functional Ram
Air hood with functional air intake scoops and the horsepower is 325 HP. Step
on the pedal and it will get your blood pumping. Add the upgraded suspension and almost 12
inch wide Z rated wheels and tires and this WS6 handles like a street
racer. Even at high speed, you feel like
you are completely under control of this American Muscle Car.
The car has been well cared for and will certainly be a“head
turner” when you are driving it around. Put the top down and you’ll be the talk
of the town. Having been garaged kept,
the interior is in pristine condition and the exterior is in great condition
considering its age. The interior looks
like it did in the show room. The
exterior is in superior condition, not perfect, as it has its limited share of
small nicks from being driven and enjoyed.
Most of which can only been seen at very close up inspection.
The Pontiac Trans AM is certainly a UNIQUE vehicle. Add the fact that they haven’t been made
since 2002, the Firebird Trans Am is quickly becoming even more unique as time
goes by. You hardly see any on the road
anymore, which adds to its uniqueness and will definitely help it retain its
value as it becomes more and more collectible; not to mention it will really
make you stand out when on the road or at a car show.

Minor Defects and Full Disclosure: Tires are about 10 years old but still in
very good condition. It could be driven
home without a problem. The exterior paint only has very minor swirl marks considering its age and couple of scuffs that have been polished and waxed.
These would disappear if you choose to do a Ceramic Coating instead of wax down
the road. Car paint has recently been “clayed”, polished and waxed so it is
looking sharp!

Final Note: There
aren't very many of these cool cars left in this condition. Plus, it will most likely increase in value
as it gets closer to its 30 year mark.
Rule of thumb for collectors is at 30 years only 25% of the cars built
are still running. They don't make
Pontiacs anymore or WS6s for that matter. It's unique aero-dynamic design with
added Ram Air Hood will be popular for a long time to come.
