Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is excited to present this 1968 Plymouth Barracuda, a classic example of one of America's most famous, iconic, and recognizable racecars, that turns heads wherever it goes. Built to be driven on the street, you can experience the rare performance of a race hemi and also cruise to your favorite car show or drive-in.
The exterior paint on this Barracuda is stunning with multiple layers of Billet Silver paint applied by Rick Perry's Custom Paints. Equally impressive is the interior with a vibrant blue crushed pile carpet and tweed interior that creates a striking contrast to the dazzling Billet Silver exterior.
The build began after an exhaustive search for an ideal body. That search yielded an Arizona car that met those qualifications. From that point, John Wallauer, of John Wallauer Race Cars, completed the build. Owner states that since its completion in 2009, it has logged less than 100 miles and has won numerous first place and best of show awards, including First in Class at the prestigious Mopars At Big Daddy's Annual Car Show. It was also a feature car in Mopar Muscle Magazine.
