Do You Offer a Warranty?
We have many years of experience judging the quality of a car. We know what to look for – we know the warning signs of junk. If a car passes our initial inspection and we purchase it, we then complete a 40-point inspection of each car we buy. We try hard to ensure we know the cars strengths and any weaknesses and give you an honest overview of them.
Most of the cars we sell are between 30-80 years old. If you were 80 years old, you might have an occasional problem too. We cannot guarantee that something completely unexpected might go wrong after it leaves our lot. In addition, wiring or other components can jiggle loose during shipping long distances and, if you’ve chosen to ship the car “open” instead of “enclosed,” there can be dirt and chips in the paint.
We want you to be happy and satisfied with your car and we will do our best to ensure that happens. We cannot, however, offer a warranty on the cars we sell.

The owner's father was a car guy from way back who owned a service station and made sure his sons knew how to turn a wrench. We've carryied on his love of cars by fixing, buying and selling beautiful classics. Our 7,000 square ft showroom is bursting at the seams and then some.
If you call Old Town Auto, you're likely to get the dealership owner directly - not a salesperson that doesn't know cars. You'll get straight answers about the cars. We want you to be happy with your purchase so, someday, you might come back again. We're very grateful for our customers who do.
eBay Ratings
We have been selling cars on eBay for many years successfully, but we treat them as Classified Ads. We used to try to sell using the eBay process, but had problems. Too many people bid, win the bid (or commit to buy via Buy Now) and then disappear. When a car is marked SOLD in the eBay system, it is very hard to get it back online. We found that it sometimes took days to get a car back on. Very frustrating.
Currently, if you make an offer for one our cars on eBay, you simply follow our usual sales process. Customers talk to us directly and handle the sale off-line. They're welcome to come and see the car in person and even arrange a third party inspection if they like.

About our Pricing:
We set reasonable prices for quality vehicles. We own our inventory and showroom outright so you're not paying the overhead assocated with debt. We don't charge "doc" fees of $300 to $600 like most other dealers do. In fact, we don't add on any fees at all. If you live out of state, all you pay the agreed upon purchase price. If you live in Maryland, we are obligated to collect sales tax on behalf of the state. Shipping is paid to the shipper and we don't get any kickbacks.
We price our vehicles at a reasonable margin above what we have invested in them. Sometimes we can do a little better. Sometimes we can't. Give us a call at 301.855.9029 to find out more about a car or ask about our best price on a vehicle.
Seeing the Vehicle:
We welcome and encourage buyers to see our vehicles in person. Make an apppointment by calling 301-855-9029. Reagan, National, Dulles Int'l, and BWI airports are all about an hour from us, but BWI is the closest.

All of the vehicles we list on eBay are for sale locally. We reserve the right to end a listing at any time as long as we have not accepted an offer.
Shipping: We will work with the shipper you select OR we can suggest a shipper to use. All shipping costs are separate from the price of the vehicle and are paid to the shipper directly.
Payment Types: Cash in person, Certified Check, Wire Transfer, Institutional Financing
Sales transactions must be completed within 7 calendar days offer being accepted
Out of state buyers are not charged tax, title, or license. Maryland buyers must pay state sales tax as required by law.
Customers are responsible for registering vehicles in their home state. You will receive 30-day in-transit tags.
