AACA national first place winner! It underwent a meticulous rotisserie restoration. It is one of the nicest cars I've had, even compared to cars much more expensive. Very well documented with two broadcast sheets, original window sticker and fender tag. It is number match colors, motor, and trans. The Duster 340 was an affordable muscle car. They had 1/4 mile times in the low 14s, upgraded handling and an all new body design.

EXTERIOR: Better than new! That's right, I don't think it looked this good when it rolled off the assembly line. The body is laser beam straight. I did not find a bubble, a dent, or a crack anywhere. The doors shut like a new car, no rattles. Repainted its original Rallye Red and it is polished like glass. It has the optional side stripes along with the Duster stripes on the tail panel. Show quality chrome on the bumpers, all the trim is restored. The vinyl top is pristine, the glass is crystal clear. It's sitting on a set of 14 inch rally wheels with reproduction Goodyear tires.

INTERIOR: It is truly like brand new from the rubber mat on the floor to the headliner. The door panels and seat upholstery were replaced. The entire dash area is pristine: the chrome sparkles and the original radio fits perfectly. It has the factory gauge cluster. I even looked up under the dash and everything looks new. The seats are firm, the seat belts are in excellent shape, steering wheel is not worn at all.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The entrance apartment is truly Concourse detailed right down to date coded spark plug wires The engine bay is painted as beautiful as the exterior of the car the matching VIN number is on the core support the original fender tag is attached The high performance 340 makes 275 hp and 340 lbs of torque. They are high revving with a long duration cam and feature big port, high flow heads. This VIN number matched original 340 motor is all stock including manifolds, valve covers, air cleaner etc. The original carb is included, it is running a new Edelbrock with electric choke. The motor was repainted with the correct overspray on the ground wire and intake hose. The heater hoses and clamps are reproduction. That is an actual reproduction battery properly secured and has a disconnect switch. Every component looks like new. Squirters and horns are hooked up. It has hood insulation.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is pristine metal all painted gloss red even under the mat. It has a reproduction tire on a restored rim for a spare. The jack assembly is also restored and mounted properly. Reproduction mat, seat divider, decal and weatherstrip.

UNDERSIDE: I was underneath this car while it was on the lift in our shop, it looks like new! It was flipped on a rotisserie; all the components were removed. The floors and frame rails are completely rust-free metal painted red with undercoat applied in the correct areas. The 340 comes with a heavy-duty suspension including thicker torsion bars, swaybar and 6 leaf springs. The suspension and steering were completely rebuilt and detailed. They also come with 10 inch disc brakes in front. The brake system was completely restored, e-brake is hooked up. The dual exhaust has correct chrome square tips. The fuel system was replaced. Looking up at the motor it's spotless, the VIN number is stamped by the oil pan. Heavy duty 727 Torqueflite automatic is also VIN number matching. Correct 8 3/4 rear end with 3.23 gears.

SERVICE: After our inspection all had to do was calibrate the speedometer.

This is truly one of the nicest restorations you'll find or that I have found anywhere! You do not have to spend anywhere near $100,000 to have a national show winning muscle car. To top it off this one is #s matching, documented and red!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.

About Volo Auto Museum

No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum.  Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960.  We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos.  For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion.  Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB.

Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful.  We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after.  Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift.  No reasonable request will be turned down.

Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn’t have to be.  After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you.  We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else’s.   Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner.  This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own.  We invest approximately $1500 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn’t sell, we lose, not you.  So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
