Presenting this 1982 Mercedes-BenzW123 300TD Estate Wagon. Powered by Mercedes-Benz'slegendary 3.0 liter OHC5-cylinder Turbocharged Diesel powerplant pairedwith an automatic transmission. Finished in Pastel Beige (684H) over PalominoMB Tex interior.
Original equipment includes: 4-speed automatic transmission, powersteering, cruise control, central locking system, climate control, electricwindows, fully independent suspension, power assisted four wheel disc brakes,light alloy Bundt wheels, Becker radio, automatic antenna withselective height adjustment, 2-speed windshield wipers with 5-second intervalmist control, electrically heated rear window with windshield wiper and washer,fully adjustable front bucket seats, front center folding arm rest, foldingrear seat divided 2/3L by 1/3R, electrically operated right outside mirror,halogen head lamps, halogen fog lamps, tachometer, luggage rack with chromeroof rails.
This wagon starts up with the turn of the key and shifts smoothlythrough all gears. The engine runs smoothly and there is very littleblow-by. A new battery, diesel injection pump, and vacuum pump werejust installed. Some of the vacuum lines will need to bereconnected, responsible for the vacuum-dependent ignition engine shut-off andbrake booster. The drive belt for the power steering pump and a/ccompressor will need to be replaced. Both passenger side windows workcorrectly, but the driver’s side front window will need a new regulator and therear a new motor (both included with the car). The floor pan underthe driver’s seat is rusted through and will require replacement (commonproblem with W123’s) and the driver’s side seat cushion has tears init. There are other miscellaneous items that the new owner will need toaddress, but these are the most notable. In its current state, it will need tobe trailered to its new home; however, with a bit of restoration, this wagoncould make a wonderful driver. This is a classic vehicle that will naturally show signs of use and age, both mechanically and cosmetically. This wagon is not new and is not flawless, and the purchaser should fully understand and accept this before placing a bid or otherwise agreeing to purchase it. A vintage vehicle such as this will not drive or function like a new car and the buyer should not expect such. The following supersedes any oral, written or otherwise implied statements, promises, or guarantees made regarding the vehicle and its condition: This wagon is being sold ASIS with no warranty of any kind expressed, stated or otherwise implied. Not every component or area of this vehicle has been inspected or tested. There will be mechanical and/or cosmetic details not specifically known or captured within this listing description, including any responses to inquiries about this vehicle. Please expect some mechanical and cosmetic components of this wagon to require repair or replacement to suit the buyer’s individual expectations. No exceptions will be made for any components, whether mechanical or cosmetic that are not up to the purchaser's standards. It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle and to be satisfied with the condition and its value before placing a bid or otherwise agreeing to purchase it. Test drives and in-person inspections are welcomed and encouraged but must be completed prior to the end of the auction or purchase. This is a No Reserve auction and will sell to the highest bidder; however, I am open to all reasonable offers prior to the close of the auction. A three hundred dollar ($300) nonrefundable deposit is due at the close of the auction through eBay and must be received no later than 24 hours after the auction’s end. The remaining balance is due within Three (3) days without exception via bank wire/Zelle, Venmo, certified bank check, or cash. The buyer is responsible for any additional payment fees incurred depending on method of transfer. The buyer will be provided a Clean and Clear title to the car following receipt of full payment.
