This is a last year European spec 1971 Mercedes-Benz  280SE 3.5 Coupe optioned with the very desirable sunroof and automatic floor shift. In the last 6 months it has went through an extensive mechanical refurbishment costing approximately $30-40k, which the detailed service records can be seen in the photo gallery.

In 2018 under previous ownership it had a glass out respray finished in 180 Silver Grey Metallic, as well as some of the exterior chrome re-done and the interior wood. Before that it spend time in Balboa, Newport Beach, California 1988-2003.

It comes with the factory MB Data Card which shows this W111 still retains its numbers matching engine and transmission. It is ready to enjoy, and is the the best deal currently on the market for a 3.5 sunroof coupe.
