The lotus Mark VI was the first Lotus production car made. Quick, nimble and inexpensive they were very popular with racers and sportsmen of the 1950's. Many were sold as kits and assembled by the purchaser. They could install any engine they wished and then go racing or enjoy themselves with a quick road car.

This Lotus Mk VI was recently pulled out of a barn in Illinois. As can be seen from the photos, it has been sitting for many years and is in need of restoration. The engine is from an 1800cc MGB.

The car is missing the nose and tail bodywork along with the rear fenders.

These cars can be registered for the road or used as a race car.

This is an inexpensive project for someone who wants a fast, nimble driving experience for reasonable money.

Please note: this car will be sold on a Bill of Sale.
