Vehicle Details

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. Up for sale is a 1981 Dodge D50 in amazing condition for its age. You will have a hard time finding a D50 in nicer shape than this one. It has been parked (and not driven) at a indoor storage facility since 1995. It is an automatic with the 2.6 engine. I replaced the spark plugs, plug wires, rotor, oil and filter change, and the distributor cap looked to be new. I put brand new tires on and only have about 15 miles on them now and installed a new battery. She fires right up and drives. The idle is a little low and the carb could probably use a clean out/rebuild. The front end is a little loose but not bad. I was driving at 55 mph and it was smooth. The engine bay is extremely clean as you can see in the pictures. The interior is in pretty nice shape besides the worn drivers seat cover. The original radio is in the cab but not installed, and I do not know if it works. With very little work this truck is ready to draw crowds at the next car show. The following items are what I have found the D50 needs: The drivers window does not stay up. The vent knobs on the dash are missing. The front windshield is cracked bad (pictures don't show the crack)and will need to be replaced. There are small dents on the hood that you can barley see in person. The undercarriage is in great shape and not rusted out. The title is the old style California title and is not in my name. The purchaser will be responsible for registering and smoging it. I think when you register it you can request to keep the original title for provenance reasons. Shipping or vehicle pick up is the purchasers responsibility. The vehicle runs and I drive it local but it is an older truck so maybe towing it would be the best bet. I do my best to describe my items I sell and I have a 100% positive rating. If you have any questions please email me and I will respond as soon as possible. I have sold two other vehicle on Ebay and the shipping has been no problem.
