The Porsche 911 Targa 4S (997) is a special variantt hat was introduced in September 2006 as a 2007 model. It has a retractable glass roof that opens and closes electrically, and is the first Targa model to only be available with all-wheel drive. The 997 Targa also has a rear lid, lighter glass, and two high-gloss aluminum strips along the roof's edges. When the roof is retracted, a glass deflector rises above the windshield to improve aerodynamic stability. Retractable rear spoiler works as it should and is speed activated or controlled by the button on the console.
