 SAME OWNER SINCE 1983 FOR SALE is a 1982 Porsche 911 Targa. This vehicle was originally purchased by a doctor in Garden Grove, CA. He commuted to work a distance away and that is when the car accumulated most of its mileage. He sold the car a year later in 1983 and that guy kept it for over 40 years. He drove it for the majority of his life until he retired. About five years ago he was no longer able to walk correctly so the car sat in with him until now when he finally decided to sell it. Itas been a CA car all of its life and retains both of its original blue plates. The odometer reads 241k miles. Performance Independent Porsche In San Diego serviced this car for the last 30 years. The owner did not save all the records, but there is miscellaneous paperwork available, and theyare shown in the video. He stated at some point around 15 years ago the motor was rebuilt, we do not have records to prove it. Mechanically it runs and drives fairly well but itas due for a good service. It has not been driven much in the last few years, so someone should go through the fuel system. The motor sounds good and has plenty of power. The motor doesnat smoke or knock. Transmission shifts well through the gears. The brakes and clutch feel good. Suspension feels tight and it doesnat shake on the highway. New BFG tires. New starter. It comes with all its books.
