This was Plymouth's pony car, same category as the Camaro and the Mustang.

EXTERIOR: Great looking fastback roofline. Outstanding fit and finishes. Absolutely laser straight, no rust or damage. The gaps are precise, doors shut like new. Repainted it's original Ember Gold color. It's better than new, show quality glass finish. The Formula S has the chrome inserts on the hood, pop up gas cap and emblems on the fenders. All the chrome is mint, stainless is polished. Grills and tail panel are mint. Weather strips and seals were replaced. New windshield. Painted to match rims with poverty caps and new reproduction redline tires.

INTERIOR: It's like new. Premium Legendary upholstery and door panels. The dash area is mint: knobs, trim, gauges, dash pads etc. It's aradio delete but hasa modern stereo below the dash. Very nice original console between the bucket seats. The rear seat folds flat, a 2+2! The deluxe wheel is restored like new. Interior lights work.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The original VIN number matching Super Commando 383-300 hp was rebuilt and has some upgrades. It has a hotter cam, aluminum intake with a 750 Holley carb, electronic ignition and Jet Hot coated headers. Every component looks new. It has a reproduction Mopar battery bolted down properly. Correct radiator, shroud, clamps etc. The fender tag is attached and matches the car. The metal is as slick as the outside. It's a very detailed, show quality engine compartment.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the lid, the jamb and the inside are painted slick. Under the mat is a matching painted rim and redline tire. New mat and weather strip. It opens into the interior.

UNDERSIDE: This car is flipped on a rotisserie, every component was removed from the under the car. The floors are pristine metal prepped and painted Ember Gold. Every single component was rebuilt or restored and then reinstalled. These come with a special ride and handling package. The suspension front and back is completely rebuilt, upgraded with Koni gas shocks all around. The steering was rebuilt. The brake system was all rebuilt and it does have four piston disc brakes in front. The e-brake is all hooked up. The fuel system was replaced, the tank and the lines. It has stainless exhaust with x-pipe. Looking up at the motor it is spotless, starter looks new. The 727 Torqueflite was rebuilt and has a shift kit and a 2500 stall converter. The drive shaft was rebuilt, new u-joints. The rear end is an 8 3/4 with 3.23 Sure Grip gears.

SERVICE: We inspected this car and it passed with flying colors, we took care of a couple rattles and that was all we found.

This is from a very fussy seller. His cars are always showroom ready and dialed in mechanically. It's one of the exceptional ones. The new owner will be very happy.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.

About Volo Auto Museum

No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum.  Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960.  We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos.  For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion.  Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB.

Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful.  We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after.  Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift.  No reasonable request will be turned down.

Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn’t have to be.  After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you.  We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else’s.   Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner.  This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own.  We invest approximately $1500 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn’t sell, we lose, not you.  So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
