I'm selling my 1985 Land Rover Defender 110 with a 300 TDI diesel engine swap from a late 1990's Land Rover Discovery and a R380 5-speed manual transmission. It runs and drives great for a nearly 40-year-old english utilitarian rig. The 4x4 works perfectly, both high and low. The transmission also shifts smoothly through all gears.

I imported the Defender myself from England in 2022 which makes the first owner stateside and I believe it had 3 previous owners in the UK. I was also able to get a hold of a decent amount of records from England when I purchased it and all the service records since I imported it for all of the service and upgrades I've done to it in the last 2+ years. It has clean title which I have in hand. I own the Defender free and clear.

It is also considered a "one-man camper" as it has a convertible bench seat bed in the rear, shelving, electrical plug ins powered by solar panels on the roof with a deep cycle battery, and other additions that make it comfortable and fun to camp in.

Nearly the entire suspension has been refreshed and replaced with upgraded/OEM parts which completely change the driving experience. It handles incredibly well, both on and off road. Easily drives in a straight line when braking or cruising when you take your hands off the wheel.

Recent upgrades listed below. All parts were purchased from LR Centre Limited, Rovers North, Rimmer Bros, and Atlantic British.

  - Defender trim panel
  - Under tray
- Bulkhead removal kit (allows for more leg room and easier access to the rear from the front)
- Two matching vintage front seats (seat rail adapters required for install)

I'm sure there are a few things I am forgetting since I upgraded so many parts, both inside and out, of my Defender and if I remember them I will add them to the list. I have receipts for all of the parts and all of them were professionally installed by certified shops.

It still requires a few things to make it perfect, including:
- Roof lights need to be connected
- Front Warn winch needs to be connected
- There area a few spots where the paint is faded or previously repaired including a small section on the drivers side rear panel behind the sliding side windows
- Has a small spot on the lower left corner of the drivers door where the paint is bubbling. It's hard to notice unless it's pointed out
- The tires are nice and big all-terrains but are also old and should be replaced
- I've been told there is a small amount of surface corrosion on the undercarriage, not on the frame, but on the under panels such as the floorboards, but most of it is covered and protected with under body coating
- There is also a small oil leak coming from somewhere near the rear of the engine or transmission, but it only seems to be a drop of oil every few days
- Also, when I had the new digital speedometer installed they were not able to transfer the exact miles to the odometer, but I do have the original odometer that will be included which reads roughly 130k miles.

NOTE: The undercarriage photos were taken prior to installation of new front differential and all of the suspension components, so it looks even better now than it does in the photos.

I would consider a partial trade for BMW R1200GS Adventure or Ducati Multistrada (2010+) or similar adventure style motorcycle.

I am more than happy to help with shipping arrangements if needed, such as meeting with the truck driver for pick up within a few miles of my home and recommending auto transport companies if desired.

I am also more than happy to help accommodate a vehicle inspection if the bidder/buyer chooses to do so. Inspection fee's are the bidder/buyers responsibility and must be completed prior to the end of the auction or before the end of the 3 days once the auction ends when the payment due. FULL PAYMENT is due within 3 days of auction ending regardless of inspection scheduling or results.  Mobile inspection is preferred, but I am willing to take the Defender to certified shops in the Portland, Oregon metro area and within 15 miles of my home. It is the bidder/buyers responsibility to schedule an inspection appointment and pay for the service. As mentioned earlier, full payment is due within 3 days of auctions end, regardless if inspection has been completed at that point or not. No refunds will be given to buyer regardless of inspection results, that is why I recommend scheduling one prior to auctions end.
