Notice to Bidders: Ride of Your Dreams LLC is a licensed, insured and bonded used car dealer in the State of New Jersey. By bidding on and/or purchasing a vehicle from us, you are accepting and agreeing to the terms and conditions contained herein.
All of the vehicles we list on eBay are also being offered for sale locally. We reserve the right to end any auction early. All cars are immediately ready for delivery upon sale. You have the right to inspect the vehicle that you are purchasing yourself or have it inspected by a competent mechanic prior to purchase. WE URGE YOU TO EXERCISE THAT RIGHT! Once you bid on the auction or "Buy it Now", this right is considered to have been waived. The time for negotiation and vehicle inspection is BEFORE you bid/buy. Once you buy it now (or win the auction) YOU BOUGHT THE VEHICLE! at the posted price PLUS the documentary fee, sales tax and motor vehicle fees (if applicable).
When the auction ends, if you are the winning bidder (or if you clicked "Buy it now"), the clock begins ticking.
Within 24 hours: you must pay the required $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. We no longer accept Paypal. Accepted payment methods are Zelle, Venmo, wire transfer and direct deposit into our bank account. You must also furnish a copy of the buyer's drivers license (the person into whose name the vehicle is to be titled). If the deposit is not received within 24 hours, the vehicle will be re-listed and a non-paying bidders case will be opened.
Within 72 hours: you must pay the entire balance due on the vehicle and return the signed sales order to us vis Docusign or a delivery service.
Failure to follow this time line (or make alternate arrangements with our staff) will result in a non-paying bidder case being opened with Ebay and the vehicle being re-listed for sale.
Regarding Titles: Title are mailed to the buyer usually within 7 days of purchase and after your payment clears. IF YOU WANT TO LEAVE OUR LOT WITH THE TITLE YOUR IN HAND WHEN YOU BUY THE VEHICLE, THEN PAYMENT MUST BE MADE IN CASH! Not all titles are immediately available or have been fully processed on all vehicles, so if you want to take the title home on the sale date, you must check with us first.

We make our best effort to disclose all issues and damages that we are aware of in our photographs and descriptions. Our vehicles, however, are not always inspected or repaired by a professional mechanic and therefore, we may not be aware of every issue or damage. It is, therefore, in the buyer's best interest to test drive the vehicle and inspect it or arrange inspection by a competent mechanic whom you trust.
Deposit: We require a non-refundable $500 deposit within 24 hours of winning the auction. IF YOU DO NOT MAKE THIS DEPOSIT WITHIN 24 HOURS, YOU WILL RECEIVE A POLICY VIOLATION FROM EBAY AND THE ITEM WILL BE RELISTED! YOU WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO BID ON ANY OF MY AUCTIONS AS A RESULT. Please call to make arrangements for payment if you have any difficulty with that provision.
Payment Types: Cash in person, Certified Funds, Institutional Financing, Major Credit Cards are accepted (a 3% processing fee will be added to the amount charged) AND a credit card authorization form will need to be signed by the credit card holder.
Documentary fee: A $389.00 documentary fee will be added to the final purchase price for your vehicle to cover the costs related to title processing, sending runners to the motor vehicle agency and generating and delivering all the necessary sales documents required by law to complete the sale. THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE! At the end of the auction, the buyer will be required to send a copy of the transferee's drivers license to our office. After payment of the deposit is received, a sales contract will then be produced by our office staff and emailed to you. Upon receipt of this email, you will print and sign the sales order and return it to us. No paperwork will be initiated until after the required deposit is received. After full payment and the signed sales order is received, you may either pick up your vehicle in person or arrange for it to be transported. If you are shipping the vehicle, you will be emailed a Docusign contract. Once we receive the signed paperwork, your completed title will be mailed to you. If you are a NJ resident, we will obtain your title, plates and registration for you and mail them to you. The title, plates and registration fees are NOT included in the documentary fee and are billed separately. To obtain plates in NJ, it is necessary for your to provide your social security number. If you are an out of state buyer, you will receive a fully executed title to take to your local motor vehicle office to register your vehicle. The documentary fee also covers the issuance of a temporary plate. To create the temporary plate, you will be required to send us proof that the vehicle is insured by email or fax. Our fax number is (732) 377-8627. The temporary plate can be attached to your vehicle when it leaves our lot so that when your vehicle arrives (or is picked up), you can start driving it right away.
All sales transactions must be completed within 3 calendar days of auction close. If you do not pay for and remove your vehicle from our lot within 7 days of auction closing (or call us to make acceptable alternate arrangements), you may be charged a storage fee of fifty dollars per day. This amount will be added to the auction total and needs to be paid upon pickup. If the total amount due upon pickup, including storage and minus any deposit payments, shall exceed the original auction total, the vehicle will be liquidated to pay the outstanding charges.

Shipping charges: We are not a shipper or a vehicle transporter. We are a member of Central Dispatch (centraldispatch.com) and offer access to their logistical services free of charge. If you wish to have the vehicle that you have purchased shipped to you, we will give you an approximate shipping quote to move your vehicle from our lot to a location that you specify. The quote will be an estimate based upon a comparison of what other buyers have paid to ship similar vehicles in the past. This quote may be subject to market fluctuations, weather and other intangeable factors and is by no means a guaranteed final price. Also, once the job is posted, it is impossible to predict exactly how long it will take for a transporter to claim the job. It is sometimes necessary to increase your offer in order to find a shipper in a timely fashion. Ride of Your Dreams LLC is not liable for any price increases or delays in this process. Please be aware that the transporter who will move your vehicle is a separate licensed, bonded and insured business and is in no way affiliated with, or an employee of, Ride of Your Dreams LLC. As such, you pay the transporter when the vehicle is delivered to you. Ride of Your Dreams LLC has no control over transporters and does not assume any liability for any actions of the transporter. Any damages occuring to your vehicle once it leaves our lot is the responsibility of the transporter. You should inspect your vehicle carefully upon arrival and document any damages that you notice. It is your responsibility to file any necessary insurance claims for damages.
