1955 GMC 1st. Series 5 Window Pickup.
Inline 6 Cylinder Engine.
4 Speed Floor Shift Transmission.
Clear Title in my name.
The Story:
I got the truck years ago with the hope of fixing it up, I was going to pull out the old tired 6 Cyl. and install a V8.
The guy I got it from claimed that it was a "barn find" out of Marysville, Wa., He got it from the guy that got it out of the barn.
The guy that got it out of the barn put it back on the road. I don't know when this was or how long he had it before he sold it.
The guy I got it from owned it from 2012-2014 when I got it.
I drove it home and put it in my barn and it has been sitting there ever since then waiting for me to get to it.
Looks like I'm not going to so it's going on to the next owner, THIS COULD BE YOU!!!.

Stock Rearend, I don't know the ratio.

Has stock drum brakes that didn't work when we pulled it out but I put fluid in and now they work.
Fluid went somewhere while it was sitting so brake system will need to be gone through.

Body is pretty straight, has some spots with amature body work with fiberglass and body filler, Cowl vent has been siliconed shut and some windshield washer squirters installed with silicone as well.
Cab floor on drivers side is solid, on passengers side has patch, Back corner on drivers side solid, On passengers side it is foam filled, fiberglassed and bondo. Has Rusty area above rear window on inside panel.
Doors open and close good, Key locks drivers side, windows function properly, Needs door weather strips.
All Glass is good, Windshield is shaded.
Bed/Box Inside measures 7' 6" long x 4' 2" wide., Has Plywood floor.
Seat is Nice.
Gauges are matching Sunpro, Speedo is Equus and shows 1874 miles
Gauges work, Lights work, Turn signals work, Vacume wipers work.
Has Vintage Air Inc. Heater with 3 speed fan.
Has New Battery that was purchased just last week so we could get the truck running and moving around. 12 volt system.
Has sill strips that were removed so floor mat could be pulled up to access battery box and take pictures of the floor, I will put them back in.
