This Factory Five Racing Roadster is a blue-over-black Shelby Cobra replica that is powered by a Ford 302ci V8 linked to a five-speed manual transmission. Features include a single chrome-finished roll hoop, side-exit exhaust pipes, 17? Halibrand-style wheels, and tubular chrome bumpers with overriders in addition to white racing stripes, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, and Simpson four-point racing harnesses. Brand New Power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes were added after the current owner’s February 2023 acquisition. This Cobra replica is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a car cover and a Florida title in the owner’s name that lists the car as a 2004 FFR CV.

Halibrand-style 17? wheels with polished lips and faux knock-off spinners are mounted with 245/40 front and 275/40 rear BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp 2 tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. The front brake caliper hardware was replaced and power-assisted braking was added in January 2023.

The cockpit houses low-back bucket seats trimmed in pleated black upholstery, and Simpson four-point racing harnesses are in place for both occupants. Black carpeting extends from the transmission tunnel to the floor mats, and additional interior appointments consist of a dash-mounted rearview mirror, translucent sun visors, and leather door hinge straps. The battery is mounted in the trunk.

A wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts AutoMeter instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer and an 8k-rpm tachometer along with centrally mounted readouts for water temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 4,300 miles, approximately 30 of which have been added under current ownership.

The Ford V8 is equipped with a Weiand intake manifold, a remote oil filter, a carburetor with an electric choke, and BBK Performance tubular exhaust headers as well as a finned Cobra-branded air cleaner assembly and valve covers. Work in January 2023 consisted of replacing the oil cooler lines and intake manifold gasket in addition to repositioning the engine mounts.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. The differential pinion seal was replaced under current ownership.

A car cover that matches the car’s paint scheme is included in the sale.

The car is titled as a 2004 Factory Five Racing convertible using the VIN FFR5008K, shown above. The current Florida title lists a “Replica” brand.
