1957 Triumph TR3 Small Mouth with Overdrive 2 Tops

1957 Triumph TR3 Small Mouth that can be driven as it is or restored to a higher quality. The car is in light yellow with a black interior. It has the desirable overdrive transmission and it comes with 2 tops - a convertible top and an aftermarket hardtop. The bodywork is a 10-20 foot car. At that distance the car looks nice but there are some lumps and bumps. Paint is older and of average quality. The fresh air door was repainted and doesn't match the color very well. The interior is ok. The carpet and seats look to have been redone years ago and in very useable condition. The seats are not torn. The engine pulls strong with no smoke. It holds 60 pounds of oil pressure. It had been sitting for almost a year and recently brought back to life. It has a spin on oil filter kit and electronic ignition. It has an overdrive transmission but the overdrive doesn't kick in. The transmission shifts good. The brakes work well with a good hard pedal. Underside looks very solid with just a bit of rust in the passengers floor. Trunk and spare tire area appear Ok. Electrically most everything works - it looks like somebody put in a new wire harness but never tidied it up .The top on the car has had windows replaced but is showing it's age. It has an aftermarket hardtop that is painted the same color as he car. Car has a roll bar installed behind the seats. Car comes with a spare wheel and side windows. All in all it is a very good car to run and drive. It looks good going down the road. More pictures and videos are available on our website. Visit us at Merit Cars.
