Up for your consideration is my 1987 Toyota 4runner SR5 4x4. 22RE 4 Cylinder Jasper motor installed at 156,171, currently at 199,907, so about 43,736 on the motor. Hate to sell, but I can't provide the care she needs to go the distance and I love these trucks too much to see it waste away from neglect and the elements. Plus my world is evolving and the old girl isn't able to join the evolution.

The Good: Super Clean Interior with new rear carpets, dash carpet. Solid motor-was used as daily driver for last 6 years. SR5 package with power windows and locks, power rear window with new stainless steel mounts on glass(works with key up and down, inside switch only goes up-was working until new mounts were installed last summer?). Old Man Emu suspension lift. 4 wheel shifts in and out of High and Low effortlessly. Newer clutch and gears(stock-nothing crazy)+gas tank+brakes+battery. Sunroof with rare sunroof cover! Includes LED lights and harness I never got to. New CD/Cassette radio and front speakers(only one speaker works currently as I suck at electrical but they are both new...) Came with bikini top and mounting frame-can't vouch for it, never looked at it or even took the roof off. Other extras and original parts.

The Bad: Parking Brake needs fixing, was seized and now isnt but needs cable work. Tires are close to end, could rotate and balance and get another year maybe but they've been wearing out. Paint is getting flaked in spots especially wiper fluid sprayer area, top of removable roof, couple other spots. will need new paint to keep turning heads. Tailgate took a beating from last owner now starting to rust along top edge, more severe in one spot where there was a dent. Missing plastic on one side of bumper and dent there too(passenger side see photos).

The Ugly: See Paint above. It will need some paint and body work to be a stunner again. Last guy spilled some paint in the back area, tried to clean it best I could, but it persists. Underside was fully undercoated by Adirondack Off-road two winters ago, but having been a daily driver in the Northeast, it is beginning to accumulate surface rust up under, but- FRAME IS QUITE SOLID STILL! Main reason I'm selling is to try to get her out of the road salt capital of the world so she can survive. I can't do enough to keep her from succumbing to the elements personally and hate to see a good truck go bad if I can help it.

She's 37 years old and all that goes with that, but I've maintained her to be a solid running and reliable machine. She came from Alabama by way of California and I'm her third man. She's an Upstate New York girl for now...but the wind and the road may take her anywhere. I wanted to keep her and do lots more stuff, but life has made other choices for me, and it's time for her to find a new lover.  She's is a dignified lady, treat her as such. I strongly encourage potential buyers to reach out and contact me with questions. I will do my best to provide more pictures/videos of anything you have questions about and any further information I can provide. Thanks for looking!
