The Tesla Model X is one of the most revered automobiles you can buy - made for the fast but quiet type. The recognizable falcon wing doors provide much cool factor, but they are also very practical for easy back seat access (think kids and seniors).
The X-100D offers several key considerations that set it apart from other Tesla models. It has good range, great performance and innovative features such as the huge touchscreen control screen, over-the-air software updates and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity.
The factory estimated electric range is rated up to 289 miles - often exceeded in our usual short trip experience. A new battery was just installed under warranty, which drive-train included is valid until 2027 or 150k miles.
The dual motors develop a combined 417 horsepower, and all-wheel drive pulls acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds.
Enhanced Autopilot was installed from new - upgradeable to Full Self Driving for $1,000 hardware plus monthly subscription.
The Model X was built to move and move people and stuff - this is a 7-seater with 2nd row captain seats and the option 3rd row seat. There is plenty of cargo space (~9 cu ft) and towing capacity up to 5,000 lbs. (added but never been used on this vehicle - no added wear).
If starting with a great vehicle - why not choose the best of the best? This vehicle will be one of them to consider.
This is a one owner vehicle with just ~28,410 miles that was regularly maintained at the local Tesla dealer, and generally pampered since new. Most of these miles have been logged on a daily 3.5 mile commute, with only a few longer highway trips made.
Upon delivery the Midnight Silver Metallic paint was protected by a scratch resistant, self-healing PPF (Paint Protective Film) coat installed on the whole body at a cost of $15,000. The vehicle has never been in an accident, and there are no dings, dents to date.
There are a couple of small flaws on the body trim, shown in pictures. The rear Tesla chrome strip had been wrapped in black, now showing a slight wrinkle spot. The driver's window sill has spots of discoloration from sun damage.
The premium black leather and wood trim interior is clean and like new, with no damage.
Tinted windows keep the SoCal sun from damaging the leather and heating the interior.
Newly refinished (black gloss powder coated) factory 20” rims fitted with new top of the line Michelin Pilot Port EV tires (under 750 miles).
The owner has bought a new Model X, and is ready to move it along to the next caretaker. Given the low miles, careful care and new key components, this particular vehicle should require few major expenses for years to come.
This is a private sale - clear title, no liens etc.
