1995 Porsche 993 Carrera RS 3.8 Clubsport, 1 of only 9 examples finished in Polar Silver (Paint to Sample) with 33K miles / 53K km, and equipped with air conditioning from factory (rare for 993 RS CS). Prioritizing weight reduction, safety, and chassis rigidity, only 227 of the Clubsport variant were produced within a total 993 RS production of 1,104 993 RS. Of those, only 189 were left-hand drive. Compared to the standard 993 RS, the interior is devoid of all carpeting and sound deadening and was finished from factory to match the exterior color. A welded-in Matter roll-cage, bucket seats and 6-point harnesses were equipped from Porsche, with the exterior featuring a larger Turnwald rear spoiler with adjustable blade and larger front splitter--though many M002 road going cars had the more aggressive aero package fitted as well. While the 3.8L engine remained unchanged from the M002 model, the Clubsport features a unique G50/32 gearbox with even further shortened gear ratios in combination with a lightweight, single-mass flywheel and stiffer rubber bushings. This 993 RS recently benefitted from a service including oil change, brake fluid flush and shift bushing replacement. This example was delivered new to Germany where it remained until 2013. It was then exported to Japan, where it resided until 2015 before being exported and registered in Monaco.
