Additionally, the heads have been rebuilt with Ron’s valve guides and roller rockers and were upgraded with hardened valve seats for use with unleaded fuel. A Pertronix electronic ignition system fires the air/fuel mixture. Backing that potent powerplant is a modern Tremec 5-speed manual transmission that, teamed with the Auburn Positraction rear end with 3.73 gears, offers both thrilling acceleration as well as long-legged highway efficiency.
