RESTORED! VERY DESIRABLE COLOR COMBINATION!!
This 1967 Firebird Convertible gets your attention with the factory color Regimental Red, code R!! The body is clean and straight down both sides of the car with a nice fit and finish. Its factory Regimental Red paint has been color sanded and buffed to a high glossy finish. All the brightwork has been polished. Front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed. Door handles, mirrors and emblems look good. It wears its HO white stripes down each side of the car which really stands out against the red exterior. It rides on a set of original 14” Rally II wheels with PMD center caps and lug nuts, new trim rings and a set of Cooper Cobra raised white letter tires.
The interior looks brand new, everything is done to detail. Gorgeous Parchment Deluxe interior, factory wood steering wheel, new seat covers and cushions. The white convertible top is as tight as a drum. It still retains its original front and rear seat belts, Deluxe door panels, handles and window cranks. The dash is like new including the dash pad. The chrome and trim, heater controls, radio knobs and bezels look great. The carpet, kick panels and sill plates are all in great shape. It also has a retro AM/FM radio and factory console with a Hurst shifter coming out of it.
The engine compartment is detailed and looks original with its number matching 326 ci/285 hp HO engine, factory air cleaner, chrome factory valve covers, correct 4 barrel carburetor and stock exhaust manifolds. It also has new upper control bushings, cadmium plated brake booster, dual master cylinder, factory fan shroud and fan. Classic A/C has been added. The engine bay is painted in a satin black finish. Overall it is very clean and proper.
The undercarriage is all clean metal and painted in a satin black finish. The bottom of the engine is clean with no signs of leaks. The Muncie 4-speed transmission is clean. The frame rails and subframe are clean and solid. All body bushings have been replaced. Brake and fuel lines look good, front and rear springs look good. All new steering components. Fuel tank and straps look good. It has a dual exhaust system that runs all the way out the back of the car with chrome exhaust tips. The E-brake assembly is all there and working. It has the factory traction bars still intact. Very impressive undercarriage!
The trunk compartment is detailed and looks to have all original rust free metal. It has a coat of splatter paint, trunk mat, original space saver spare tire, jack assembly, new trunk weather stripping and original Shakers. It has a nice clean look!!
