1968 Pontiac GTO. Award winning MCACN Concourse Gold. The car had been in storage since 1974 and had been recently restored to original condition. The body and body parts were sent out for stripping to bare metal and then epoxy primed. The frame and components were sand blasted and powder coated. The body work and painting was done at Magnum Restoration in LaSalle IL Had 42,000 miles on the odometer and reset to 0. Most parts are original that had been restored or replace with NOS. The dash and center console were sent out for vacuum forming to new. The steering wheel was correctly re-done with urethane. The interior was professionally replace with Legendary Interior material. It is a numbers matching car. Engine, transmission, differential. The voltage regulator, alternator and starter are date correct. The four speed Hurst shifter was sent to Hurst for rebuilding and re-chrome. Motor, transmission and differential were rebuilt. The motor was the Ram Air 3 cam, slightly stronger. The exhaust is factory correct from Gardner. The color is factory correct two stage Aegena Blue with original Black interior. The trim tag shows correct.
