1997 Land Rover Defender 90 XD WOLF RHD

THE WOLF

This is an incredibly well documented, well maintained rare head turner, that upon release from the British Military (MOD) it went into a private collection and was used sparsely, but always highly maintained by the British army. the Vehicle is in Mint condition.

Booked in for a paint correction, ceramic coating and full interior deep clean ready for the next owner and already paid for.

We have pages upon pages of service records, military records and the 'fault' report which in itself is pages long. Even if a bulb went out on the car, a fault report was raised, the vehicle was taken off duty and it was repaired before then being taken back out (British Military are meticulous to their details and the pages of paperwork here shows it).

This was a fully loaded version of the XD, built to much higher standards than your civilian models with a better chassis, axles, better brakes, 24V alternator, roll cage, extinguisher, pickaxe, spade and ropes on the front. It has the full canopy which can be completely removed, rear seating with belts (could get 4 in the back) it has the side spare wheel (Also place for one on the other side, as well as the hood), interior lights and lots of other cool little touches. Original engine (2.5 300TDI, much better than the previous years), about 69K miles (it's in KM on the dials) Fires up, drives and pulls very well and the gear shifting is very clean.

Took it for a drive today and did 30 miles nice and easily. A smooth driving, stunning head turner.

They didn’t make tens of thousands of these like other models, and ones with this level of documentation and heritage are hard to find!

I have yet to see one so well documented for sale here, with some claiming to be Wolf’s but clearly are after market mods.
