I purchased this Jeep in 2016 and immediately replaced the engine with a new Jasper 258 inline six. It has been maintained ever since with an open checkbook. It is not my primary vehicle, but, instead, it is my weekend driver set to take me out among the mountains and countrysides of northwestern Georgia. This said, the new engine only has between 5000 to 6000 miles on it.
The best thing I
can say about this vehicle is that you won’t find any rust what-so-ever.
Further, the entire interior of the Jeep is coated in a Rhino Lining protective
coating to prevent wear and rust to the inside of the Jeep. There has been no off-road activity on my part as I never take it off the paved roads. Further,
this Jeep has not seen rain since I purchased it as it is only driven when the
sun is shining. It has been garage kept otherwise. Everything works as it
should including the gauges. Please note that the speedometer cluster was recently replaced which reset the odometer back to 00000. For what it's worth, you can see in one of the pictures that the odometer originally read 51424.
The Jeep comes
equipped with a brand new Bestop Supertop with two-piece doors which have only
been placed on the Jeep once to ensure proper fit. I use, instead, the bikini top
pictured or the mesh bikini top.
There is no
backseat as I replaced it with a $1000+ Tuffy Security Products 046-01 Cargo
Security Box. If you wanted to reinstall the backseat, they can be ordered from
Quadratec for a reasonable amount. I also replaced the glovebox with a Tuffy
security box and installed a Tuffy console security box complete with
cupholders. I had the console box wired with two USB and one 12v electrical
outlet. All three Tuffy security boxes are keyed alike.
The stereo
consists of a Sony MEX-M72BT marine receiver which plays both CDs and USB and
delivers 4x55w into the Polk Audio MM 522 5-1/4” front speakers and the Polk
Audio MM 692 6”x9” rear speakers. The stereo includes a remote control.
Finally, an Autotek Model 66 drives two Kicker RMB8 8” subwoofers in boxes
located behind the front seats.
There’s a 48”
Hi-Lift Jack mounted to the front hood. Fog lights. An on-board trickle
charger. Tilting steering column/wheel. Quadratec floor mats. The tires have
plenty of tread life left in them with the spare tire being brand new.
Thanks for the interest in this vehicle. Please come and test drive it so that you can see it’s as good as I represent it to be. Having recently purchased another weekend vehicle, I need to sell this one to gain the garage space back. I will assist with loading the vehicle onto your driver's rig if that is required. Please write with any questions.
Payment is to be made in cash. Any other form of payment, please discuss before bidding. The Jeep is for sale locally, so, if it sales, I may cancel this listing with no notice.
