Up for your consideration is perhaps one of the most complete Cherokee XJs ever built. This build alone has over $100k in parts and labor, $107k to be exact without the cost of the Jeep which started its life before the rebuild as a 2000 Cherokee Limited with only 122k miles. This entire build below has less than 7k miles on it. This was a complete rebuild top to bottom with not one part of the Jeep not unattended to. Your purchasing a 7k mile World Class XJ. A XJ like this would take us about 18 months to build and we couldn't even start to the build for about another 12-16 months, so you would be looking at 2.5 years to get something like this from us!!!! This Jeep has nothing but the very best and is the best of both worlds, it can make a great daily driver, weekend worrier or overland vehicle. From its custom Land Rover complete color change, rare and expensive parts like AEV, ARB, Yukon, to its complete upgraded driveline including its 4.6 Stroker, you will not never find another XJ like this to hit the market without custom ordering it.

PAINT & BODY REFINISH: PARTS AND LABOR $20,300

This Jeeps body is completely re-finished in Land Rover Bonatti Grey Metallic with a contrasting roof finished in Land Rover Fuji White. For the repaint, the Jeep was 100% disassembled to resemble a factory paint job but with a better finish. All door jams, back side of doors, back side of hood, back side of rear gate, etc were painted for a true top of the line color change refinish. Even the engine bay was painted at the time of the original 4.0 was removed to install the 4.6 stroker. This Jeep was brought down to metal for the repaint which is a very time consuming process. Once sanded down to metal and all prep body work was done it was then primed and blocked numerous times for a perfectly flat finish. Once the body was blocked numerous times, it was then sealed, base coat with 2 coats followed by 3 coats of clear coat. All glass, seals, handles, trim, mirrors, etc were all removed for the refinishing and REPLACED with all BRAND NEW Mopar Glass, Seals, Trim, and Handles This exterior refinishing with parts and labor came in right at $20,300. If your not in the custom paint and body industry and know what it takes to complete a task like this, its absolutely tedious and time consuming with a completion time of about 4 months alone. Once the entire Jeep was painted and cured, it then received a full wet-sand, buff and polish to flatten out the clear coat.

ENGINE: 4.6 STROKER ENGINE - PARTS AND LABOR - $10,500

This Jeep is equipped with a custom built high performance 4.6 Stroker Engine that really makes this Jeep move!!! The factory 190HP and 235TQ is now improved to over 280HP and 310TQ. This stroker includes forged connecting rods, an upgraded camshaft and many other parts to really bring this engine to life. The 4.0 factory engine is a great engine for a factory Jeep but is extremely under-powered once a Jeep is lifted with larger tires and additional weight. This 4.6 Stoker engine paired with the 4.56 Gears really makes driving this Jeep a wonderful experience with plenty of power for driving 85MPH on the highway to exploring off road adventures with added gear and equipment. A full Magnaflow exhaust system was installed to assist with the added power and add that touch of throaty sound.

ALL VEHICLES COME WITH A 12 MONTH VIRGINIA STATE INSPECTION

INSPECT BRAKES FOR:
- Worn, damaged or missing parts.
- Worn, contaminated or defective linings or drums.
- Leaks in system, proper fluid level.
- Worn, contaminated or defective disc pads or discs.

INSPECT PARKING BRAKE FOR:
- Broken or missing parts.
- Proper adjustment.
- Standard factory equipment or equivalent.

INSPECT HEADLIGHTS FOR:
- Approved type, aim, and output.
- Condition of lamp, wiring and switch.
- Beam indicator.

INSPECT OTHER LIGHTS FOR:
- Approved type, proper bulbs, condition of lenses, wiring and switch.
- Aim of fog and driving lamps.
- Illumination of all lamps, lens color, and condition of lens. (NOTE: Every vehicle must have a rear lamp showing a red light to the rear, a white light illuminating the rear license plate; vehicles over 7 feet wide or extending 4 inches or more beyond the front fender extremes must be equipped with approved clearance lamps and reflex reflectors. Count load in measuring.)

INSPECT SIGNAL DEVICE FOR:
- Approved type, proper bulbs, condition of lenses, wiring and switch.
- Correct indications and tell-tale (visual or audible).
- Illumination of all lamps, lens color, and condition of lens.

- Wear in bushings, kingpins, ball joints, wheel bearings, tie rod ends.
- Looseness of gear box on frame, condition of drag link and steering arm.
- Play in steering wheel.
- Wheel alignment and axle alignment.
- Broken spring leaves, and worn shackles.
- Shock absorbers.
- Broken frame.
- Broken or missing engine mounts.
- Lift blocks.

INSPECT TIRES, WHEELS & RIMS FOR:
- Condition of tires including tread depth.
- Mixing radials and bias ply tires.
- Wheels that are cracked or damaged so as to affect safe operation.

INSPECT MIRROR FOR:
- Rigidity of mounting.
- Condition of reflecting surface.
- View of road to rear (Truck mirrors must extend at least halfway beyond edge of body) � (Visibility 200 feet to rear).

INSPECT HORN FOR:
- Electrical connections, mounting and horn button.
- Emits sound audible for a minimum of 200 feet.

INSPECT WINDSHIELD AND OTHER GLASS FOR:
- Approved type safety glass.
- Cloudiness, distortion or other obstruction to vision.
- Cracked, scratched or broken glass.

INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER/DEFROSTER FOR:
- Operating condition.
- Condition of blade.

INSPECT EXHAUST SYSTEM FOR:
- Exhaust line-manifold, gaskets, pipes, mufflers, connections, etc.
- Leakage of gases at any point from motor to point discharged from system.

INSPECT LICENSE TAGS FOR:
- llumination of rear plate.

INSPECT HOOD AND AREA UNDER THE HOOD FOR:
- Operating condition of hood latch.
- Presence of emissions system -Evidence that any essential parts have been removed, rendered inoperative or disconnected.
- Break fluid & Power Steering levels that are below the proper level
- Power steering belt - proper tension, wear, or absence.

INSPECT AIR POLLUTION CONTROL SYSTEM (1973 and Subsequent Models) FOR:
- Installation.
- Operation. (NOTE: This includes the catalytic converter and the fuel tank filler pipe.)

INSPECT DRIVER�S SEAT FOR:
- Anchorage.
- Location.
- Condition.

INSPECT SEAT BELTS FOR:
- Approved type.
- Installation.

INSPECT AIR BAG AND AIRBAG READINESS LIGHT FOR:
- Any defects in the air bag system noted by the air bag readiness light, or otherwise indicated; or
- The air bag has been deployed and has not been replaced (and is not deactivated because of a medical or other exemption and a notice is posted to indicate that it has been deactivated); or
- Any part of the air bag system has been removed from the vehicle; or
- If the air bag indicator fails to light, or stays on continuously.

INSPECT DOORS AT THE RIGHT & LEFT SIDE OF THE DRIVER�S SEAT FOR:
- Handle or opening device which will permit the opening of the door from the outside and inside of the vehicle.
- Latching system which will hold door in its proper closed position.

INSPECT FUEL SYSTEM FOR:
- Liquid fuel leakage.
- Fuel tank filler cap for presence.

INSPECT FUEL SYSTEM FOR:
- Holes which allow exhaust gases to enter occupant compartment.
- Conditions which create a hazard to the occupants.

Terms of Sale

Payment Terms: The successful buyer will submit a $500.00 non-refundable deposit via paypal or credit card. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance within 7 days of auction close. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.

Acceptable Payment Methods: Cash (In Person), certified check, cashiers check, bank wire transfer, or third party approved financing via check or wire. All checks are made payable to Davis AutoSports. We DO NOT take credit cards for balance

Fees and Taxes: Davis AutoSports charges a $249.00 processing fee. All buyers are responsible for state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title or registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. Buyers are responsible for tax, title & tag fees in the state the vehicle will be registered.
