About this vehicle

Selling my 2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ sport 4x4 4L in-line 6. It has been my daily driver. Jeep runs and drives great. A lot of work has been done yet it still remains a fun project for someone. I've owned it for 3 years. Bought it to make it better but cannot continue along with the fun cosmetic projects. Always regular oil changes at 3,000 miles. Mechanics always comment on how clean it is. HVAC parts behind dash have been replaced and the heat and a/c work great. Here's a list of work/service done and these receipts will be provided. Happy to take other specific photos at your request. Idler pulley Thermostat radiator hose HVAC blower motor & resistor Heater core, evaporator core cylinder head serpentine belt, shrader valve insulator kit, exhaust manifold shield tune up 11/19/21 all suspension replaced - shocks, springs, track bar, sway bar and bushings valve cover, valves, hoses tires replaced in 2021 and have approx 25,000 miles on them. aluminum jeep wheels have been powder coated New headliner in 2023 Repainted the original blue by a guy in Beaufort. He didn't do the best job but it looks so much better than it did before. Back hatch latch needs to be replaced. Automatic door locks work intermittently, thinking master control switch needs to be replaced. No other known issues. I have NOS Jeep badges that haven’t been put on and those will be included. There’s no antenna installed but I’m including a new one that should fit if you have the antenna removal tool. There was a serviced bulletin in early 2000s noting issue with cylinder head and a cylinder 3 misfire. Service bulletin noted this was caused by hairline crack in head. We replaced head and installed a fan switch to further help. Now, when making stops throughout the day, I turn ignition off, then turn switch on and a small fan blows air over top of motor. I either wait a few minutes and turn it off or, when I return to the car, turn the fan off and start ignition. Works every time and no cylinder misfire. Fan runs off the battery. Motor sits too close to the hood and I didn't want to install hood vents and deal with body work.
