Fresh out of a long climate controlled nap, This 2000 supercharged Xjr came from a private collection of R cars. This particular car is a driver. Shows well, has its share of stone chips, A couple dings in the body, etc.. But no rust or rot, no prior rust or rust repairs. Car has had some touch up paint work in the past, overall good driver quality car.
Upon its revival a few months ago, the car received 4 new tires, new brakes all 4 corners including calipers, hoses, pads and rotors. New fuel pumps, some tune up parts as needed.The car runs and drives down the road very well. Fluids were changed and or topped off, car has been gone through mechanically front to back. All lights, windows, electrical systems work as they should with the exception of 2 things:1: ABS light comes and goes (never has been an issue as far as drivability)2: backlight for HVAC controls does not light up at night - (a good used switch panel comes with the car)
Interior of the car is in above average condition, leather shows minimal wear , wood is in near perfect condition throughout. Factory floor mats are still in place!.. The inner sunroof cover has been removed due to cloth coming loose. It is included with the car, easy to reinstall once fixed to your liking..
The car lived in a garage 99% of its life and that shows..Heated seats all work, heat blows hot and the AC will freeze you out. New alpine speakers sound good through factory tapedeck radio.
Car has been recently detailed inside and out. At the time i installed the 4 new tires I had all 4 wheels checked / straightened and refinished in the factory color powdercoat.
Although this car is very nice, the photos do not show all of the chips/ blemishes in the finish -Prior inspection of the car at my shop in Central MA is welcomed and encouraged.. this is a 24yr old automobile with 150k on it - this is not a new car or a restored car - this is a driver Quality car that you can use and not be afraid of using!
