About this vehicle

I am selling this car on behalf of an older neighbor. She has been the caretaker of this car for the last number of years while her friends have been working abroad. It was bought new by her dear friend (and marine biologist) in Massachusetts and shortly thereafter came to California. For the last number of years it has lived on the street here in Berkeley with very little use mostly just moved for street sweeping. Before that it lived in the Santa Cruz, California area since 2001ish to the late teens. I have records going back to new including the window sticker. Pros- It runs and drives very nicely Four-Wheel drive works perfectly Motor pulls very strong Transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears with no slipping Has spent the majority of its life in California and therefore has zero rust The car was always looked after and anytime there was an issue it was dealt with. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere in the US today. Cons- It has normal wear for an ungaraged California car of its age. Faided paint on hood Lots of nicks, bumps, dings, and scratches. Interior has normal wear Someone tried to brake in the driver's side door with a screwdriver and messed up the lock. The tires are older but still have some tread.
