About this vehicle

This is a 2003 Ford Ranger electric motor modified vehicle with approx 45000 original miles. It is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior, interior and drive train.

I have had it for 3 years and I have a notarized title that is in the name of the previous owner and has the first assignment to me authenticated by a notary. I'm not sure what this translates in terms of transferring the title to your name and registering it. you'll have to research the policies within your state.

The vehicle needs work to drive. It was never driven regularly as a daily driver. It was estimated to have a driving range 0f 30-40 miles and was able to cruise highway speeds (45-55MPH) .

This is a 2003 Ford Ranger RWD that was modified from a rear wheel drive 5 speed v6 to an alternative electric powered vehicle that runs on an 40 hp 115v DC electric motor and has been modified extensively with various electric components and accessories.

Here are the following key electrical components:

  • Unknown 40HP 120-140V DC electric motor.
  • Curtis PMC On Road DC 98-144v 500 amp Motor Controller
  • Iota Engineering DLS-30 Series M DC 108-32v to 12-13.4v Voltage Converter
  • Po_tek DC monitor system
  • Interior Cab Circuit Breaker
  • Zivan NG3 48cell 24amp 144v Lithium Battery Charger NG3
  • 50 Life PO 3.4v batteries.
  • Mes-Dea Riscaldarone RM4 4000watt DC electric powered coolant heater (for heating interior cab in winter using conventional coolant based heating system).

It was driven with its power off the trailer to the current location.

The 3.4v Life-Po 4 batteries are not good and need replaced.
