This 1987 Ferrari Mondial
3.2 coupe is finished in Rosso Corsa over beige leather upholstery and is
powered by a 3.2-liter V8 linked to a five-speed manual transaxle and a
limited-slip differential. Equipment includes 16? alloy wheels, a sunroof, a
gated shifter, a new stereo with blue tooth, usb port and new speakers, power windows, and air conditioning. The car
was sold new in Illinois and was purchased by the seller in 1988. This
Mondial 3.2 coupe is now offered in California with the owner’s manual, a car
cover, and a clean California title in the seller’s name. The first registration was April 1988 and I purchased it Sept 1989 with 2560 miles on the odometer (Carfax report included) The last photos were done of the front compartment and the engine compartment after the detailing. I have had an Ebay Store since 2004 with over 9600 sales with 100% positive feedback.
The Pininfarina-styled bodywork is finished in Rosso Corsa and features
a sunroof, pop-up headlights, integrated front fog lights, side air intakes,
black lower bodywork, and quadruple exhaust outlets. Five-spoke 16? alloy wheels
are mounted with Yokohama YK740 tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel vented
disc brakes. The
four-seat cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in beige leather along
with a color-coordinated lower dashboard, center console, and door trim.
Interior features include a gated shifter, Ferrari-branded
floor mats, power windows, and air conditioning. The three-spoke MOMO
leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer
with a 7,750-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil
temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The transverse 3.2-liter F105C V8 features four valves per cylinder and was factory rated at 260 horsepower and 213 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The odometer was replaced because of a bad diode in the ignition with a zeroed unit in 1994 with 8930 miles on the odometer with a photo of the required sticker on the door which has been verified by Carfax. The repair documentation with a photo of the work order document is included. I have all of the inspection certificates before and after the replacement. All of the paperwork since 1988 is included with the vehicle. All work was done by Ferrari in St. Louis, Mo and Ferrari of San Diego. The exterior is the original paint in excellent condition having been kept under the Ferrari flannel cover and garaged. I recently had the wheels redone and the black trim around the front and passenger windows redone. All of the opening hydraulic struts for the boot, engine and front are new. The original books and cover with the original fob and keys are included. The car has been kept covered with a flannel Ferrari cover, as mentioned, that I purchased with the vehicle. I had the timing belt replaced and the oil changed during the last service. The tires, clutch and brakes have only about 3000 miles of use. The vehicle was professionally detailed recently and the skylight rebuilt (cost $6000) in November-February. I will include a photo of the recent work orders. I have owned this Ferrari since I was a young man and have kept in in perfect working order. Please let me know if you would like any additional photos. This is by far the best Mondial on the market with known providence. When I purchased the vehicle it had 2560 miles on it and the transmission was still tight and not broken in. The new owner should be able to drive this vehicle for the next 10,000 miles with only regular maintenance required. On May 18, 2024 at 10:52:01 PDT, seller added the following information:
