1968 VW Beetle
This bug is know as “Willie” (after Willie Nelson) or “Captain America” by my amazing mechanic that rebuilt him.
Willie was in the 1976 Bicentennial Parade in Natchez, Ms. He sat in a warehouse shortly after for probably 20 years. He was rescued from the gentlemen I bought him from. He and his friends got him running and created the patina in his American Flag paint job.
I bought him a few years back. His engine did catch fire. Which sometimes happens with these old VW engines. Insurance company totaled him. I bought him back from the insurance company and used the money to rebuild him even better!
“New” rebuilt engine. New pans. New interior. New wiring harness and electrical. New tires. Runs perfect.
Could use a clear coat or a new paint job if you want to go that route.
I love his patina and history. So I didn’t want to mess with the paint.
Great care with a cool history and runs amazing!

Also! I DO have the passenger seat! I took it out for my dogs :)
