Gateway Classic Cars is proud to digitally present this 1972 Volkswagen Beetle.
History shows that this car was the most mass-produced car in the world, and this is a great little example of why this car is so popular. The owner bought this car in 2018 as a weekend driver and has lovingly enjoyed it and now wants to send it to someone that will appreciate it just as much. This beautiful little car comes in a nice pastel blue paint with well restored chrome accents, front and rear bumpers, and twin exhaust tips. The headlights chrome trim upgrade looks great and is a nice touch of class. The interior is just as classic and chic as the outside. Black dash with correct gauges and switches matches the 1970's era Volkswagen. Seating is a restored white vinyl bucket seats and rear bench with seat belts and with the white headliner makes for a bright interior to enjoy. Another key interior feature is the upgraded retro style AM/FM/MP3 radio. The front of the car has the unique storage area that holds the spare tire and jack. The engine is a rebuilt air cooled 4 cylinders with upgraded carburetor with silver accents to continue the blue and silver color scheme. This car also has had the 4-speed transmission rebuilt from the original and has an upgraded reverse lock out lever on the shifter to keep from accidentally going into reverse.
This is a great example of the iconic Volkswagen Beetle don't miss out on this trip down memory lane..
