Trail ready. Lifted and fitted with 31" tires for good clearance and grip. The lift isn't the best I've seen but it is functional, on par with the bumpers which you can see are functional but slightly rough. The front bumper will directly mount a 9000 lb Warn winch and space has been made for an extra battery. Has a recovery hook on the rear bumper and the rear differential appears to either be welded or a spool for positive traction off road. It works on pavement but isn't completely happy about it as it needs one tire to slip a bit on really tight turns. The engine is fresh and the transmission is good. All gages work except the speedometer. Has nice junkyard cloth seats which are quite comfortable, have good side support and appear to be very tolerant of poor treatment/bad weather. The rear window is water clear 1/8" thick vinyl snapped into place on the roll bar, and the roof is aluminum sheet metal shaped to the supports and secured with screws and sealed. Not perfectly weathertight but better than the soft top I'd say and the removable window and doors are a plus. The doors have the hinges cut and have seat-belt limiters that are easily unbuckled. The windshield is rather badly cracked I'm afraid.

There is a bit of rust here and there but the floors have been repaired with heavy gage sheet metal and the rockers have been covered with diamond plate. The floor in the bed is mostly sound. The engine has been fitted with a Holley 2310 2bbl carb with electric choke which works very well but it's tall enough to require a hole in the hood which was dressed out by using a stainless salad bowl welded into the hole, so it has a hood bump. But the stop on the windshield frame keeps it from hitting the glass so that's OK I guess.

I bought it on a bill of sale so if you want to drive it on the street you will need to get a title for it. There are services that do that for you and I will assist as I can.

Overall it is a solid unit. By the time you add what it would cost to add the spring over lift, the seats, the top and rear curtain, gages, Holley carb, etc to what you have to pay for a Samurai in ANY running condition the price is reasonable. Not even to mention what an engine refresh would cost. Taking all that into consideration this is a pretty good bargain. I would not steer you wrong, I have a very good reputation both here and on the internet as a whole. People trust what I tell them. You can too.
