series before being superseded by the introduction of the BMW-powered Silver

POWERTRAIN
The 6.75-liter OHV V8 powering the Silver Spirit was rated
by the manufacturer at 304 horsepower at 3,900 rpm and 295 lb-ft of torque at
2,000 rpm when new, with a four-speed automatic transmission. The engine is
original and starts immediately with no issues. The four-speed automatic
transmission shifts very smoothly in all gears. No leaks or weeps are
reported.
