Sold new on November 25, 1988 by Steve Foley Rolls Royce in Northbrook, Illinois. Delivered price was $129,900.00 (equivalent to $337,256.00 today.) Shortly after purchase this Rolls moved to the west, where it has remained since that time. Always maintained on schedule and never abused or neglected. Service records from 1989 to present are included. Most recent complete factory-authorized service performed in March, 2024 totaled $6,700.00. Clean CarFax™ report with no accidents or damage (see last photo, below.)
93,150 total miles (an average of just 2,587 miles per year since 1988.) Beautiful condition throughout. Original Cotswold Beige/Pecan paint shows wonderfully with a deep shine. Body is straight with excellent panel fit and no rust. Beige Everflex vinyl roof is lovely. Chrome is bright with no pitting. Gorgeous wheels wrapped by newer radial tires.
Dark brown leather interior with beige piping in exceptional condition. No damage, tears or blemishes. Excellent matching deep brown wool carpeting and floor mats. The genuine wood moldings and trim appear as-new with no wear or flaking and a luxurious mirror shine. All interior and exterior lights work. Recent service included replacement of the heater core and windshield wiper motor. Automatic heating system works as-new. Air conditioning blows ice cold. Delco AM/FM/CD stereo with beautiful sound. Original analog (non-working) cellular telephone in the front right arm rest. Power front seat is intermittent. All power windows work. Rear arm rest contains four Rolls Royce logo glasses and two etched crystal glasses are stowed up front between the driver and passenger seats for enjoying beverages while on the road. Front seat-backs contain 2 folding burled wood tray tables, also in excellent condition. Includes all original manuals. Trunk holds spare tire/wheel and tools, plus a fitted car cover and maintenance items.
Mechanically excellent. The 6750cc/411.9 cubic inch/6.8 litre Rolls Royce OHV V8 engine produces 220 horsepower. Starts easily, runs smoothly and quietly with no smoke or unusual noises. Again, it has been regularly serviced throughout its life, with documentation to support the work done. Recent service also included replacement of the front lower control arms and bushings. Undercarriage is clean, rust-free and damage-free. I have personally driven this Rolls nearly 100 miles and it performs flawlessly. Excellent power and acceleration. Transmission shifts perfectly. Holds the road solidly. Steers with a fingertip. Brakes stop smooth and straight. All analog and digital gauges work and register accurately. The interior is quiet and luxurious. A non-smoker's car. Truly a pleasure to drive and ready to go anywhere.

Shipping
Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and not included in the auction price. Vehicle must be picked up within 14 days of payment, unless other arrangements have been made. Note that vehicle will be shipping from the Portland, Oregon area (Northwest coast of the U.S. between Seattle and San Francisco) with easy access to interstate highways (I-5: north-south, and I-84 east). We will gladly assist your carrier with loading.
